Willie, you recently posted that being Christian isn't necessarily easy. We are called to be in the trenches and that means sometimes we have to hug a drunk who's puked all over himself. Man, that was powerful. Your words also hold true regarding everyone's value. Thank you for sharing as you do.
Thanks. But don't pat me on the back too much. I have experienced several extended periods of time that, for various reasons, my flesh reared its ugly head, and I have both come unglued on someone, and/or just backed away from the whole thing for months. I am not proud of it, but I am not really a naturally empathetic person.

Honestly, I think this is so beautiful.

I used to work with homeless/transient youth and adults. Man I loved loving on that population, so many amazing but totally broken people. And when they turned themselves over to Jesus? Spectacular!

Yet it's HONEST, and we are each human. We can do a lot under our own power. It's really when we allow God to work through us that we see people as HE does. :)

And that's it right there. Swimming in polluted, shark infested waters against strong currents takes everything out of a person, but when we've bared witness to God's glorious Truth in Jesus Christ, and the fruits of that labor come to fruition, no doubt it is nothing short of spectacular. To God be the glory!

We all have intrinsic value...Jesus gave us that value and worth when he died on the cross for us all! Sure some personality traits are more "inviting" than others to some...but in the bigger picture...we all have value and worth it's all about how one looks at it not sure if that's been said I haven't all the posts...I need a coffee :)

Human nature you got to love it... We can be hateful at times and loving in the next moment.

Think on this for just a moment....every human ever born was meant for Royalty...., but not every human chooses to go that route.... How? you might ask?.....Jesus came and died so that ALL could be saved, but we don't all choose His gift of salvation so instead of acting like the royalty He has saved us to become someday, we try and make others around us feel worthless.

We are jealous, angry, hurtful, spiteful and mean to one another at times and I am as guilty as the rest and have caused my share of pain toward my fellow humans. We don't take the time to get to know someone and understand where they are coming from. We make assumptions and place our insecurities on everyone else thinking that we are oh so much better than they are when in reality we are as BIG of SINNERS as the next guy and the truth of the matter is that WE ALL NEED JESUS TO BE SAVED.

And He is the only one who can change our hearts to become the loving, caring Christian ambassadors that He would want us to be - people that would be examples of His life that others would want to know what we have that makes us different so they could also become more like Jesus.

Yes, we are worth a priceless amount we just don't realize it and act on it because if we did we would treat each other oh so much better than we do.
