Haha, Jullianna, I do not think you intended "Have You Ever Seen The Rain" to hit home like it did. That has been my worldview this semester.

I'll have to do a little bit of thinking before posting mine for you all, lol.

I hadn't noticed this post until now. If I had heard this song before I just never had payed attention to the lyrics. All I gotta say is, have you been creeping on my brain Jullianna?

Well the past is playing with my head
And failure knocks me down again
I’m reminded of the wrong
That I have said and done
And that devil just wont let me forget

In this life
I know what I’ve been
But here in your arms
I know what I am

[chorus]
I’m forgiven
I’m forgiven
And I don’t have to carry
The weight of who I’ve been
Cause I’m forgiven

My mistakes are running through my mind
And I’ll relive my days, in the middle of the night
When I struggle with my pain, wrestle with my pride
Sometimes I feel alone, and I cry

In this life
I know what I’ve been
But here in your arms
I know what I am

When I don't fit in and I don’t feel like I belong anywhere
When I don’t measure up to much in this life
Oh, I’m a treasure in the arms of Christ ‘cause

Ugh lightning why do i have to be Jingle bells! :D since my name is Holly i was tormented by kids singing Christmas carols at me the whole month of December. THANKS FOR REMINDING ME OF THAT!!!!!!!!!! ( i joke... sorta ;) )

Anyway here is my list.

Zeroturbulance The love boat theme song. Oh yes thats right the loooooooove boat ;)

Liamson: Clocks by Coldplay i believe

Julliannnaaaa: You remind me of country music in general. Leanne womack to be specific

Seolsearch: When i think of you the band Heart automatically starts playing in my head.

GreenNnice: Johnny cash!! Ring of fire

Lightningclap: Classical music like Mozart or Bach should be playing in your posts.

Catlynn: Adele Sidewalks i believe is the name of the song
-----------------
Intuitive, Nods, cuz if you get close to me it very well will be heated discussion and if you step inside the 'ring' you just might feel like you are getting refined. btw, I love the song, 'Refine The Fire,' think that is what it's called. 'Course, I also like 'We Didn't Start The Fire' :D And, I've never listened to Johnny Cash, but I still want to see Walk The Line someday.
-----------------------
Sorry, peeps, no songs for you now, I need to put more thought into it and my mind's been spinning too much on other things of late. Good thread, Lightnin', I mean, julieannie :D

I don't get it....

Like...

A song that reminds me of Green&nice is Rock Lobster by the B-52's.

but I don't know if I'm following the intention of the thread.
Commotion in the ocean, everybody had matching......towels dah dah dah da da da da da dahhhhh

Wipes a tear from the corner of my eye, yep, they don't write songs like that anymore lol.

No offense, but that song is a little too honky-tonk for me. I prefer country music that's more like Faith Hill. I can see how you might be able to line dance to that though. Not that I'm into line dancing. Lord help me if I ever attempt to line dance! LOL

I guess Nod and Kim will never see the last songs I picked for them :/ *sigh*

Nothing was funnier than watching a bunch of New Yorkers in the 4th grade attempt to line dance. Mind you I was among them and still thought it funny.

Oh the memories of gym class.

I don't mind the honky tonk type if they are fun like this one. I don't like the ex-wife/lost my truck and dog whiney kind tho :)

You were a New Yorker, Ritter? My respect for you just went up! :) (I had lots of respect for you before too)

Its not that I respect NY'ers in general...but all this time I thought you were a foreigner, and I love NY city. Been there lots of times in the past.
