I've learned that Hello Kitty is not a cat. She is a London girl. But good news snoopy is a dog.
I saw that in the news too, but just for the record...the japanese guy who created Hello Kitty says she is a cat. :)

I learned that a blood transfusion (not for me) takes an entire day at the hospital. :(

I learned that I'm not a team player. I just work better by myself with my own standard of perfection. :p

I learned it is not wise to work on a jeep in the dark. It is a good way to shred your thumb.

I learned that if you mention to a group of people that motor oil mixed with chlorox makes smoke (and lots of it) about 60% of the guys in the group will go home and try it.

Did you have a little mess to clean up then?

Actually you can microwave it for about 20 seconds to knock the chill off it, but you don't want to leave it in long enough to get really hot.

I learned this week that:

1.) No matter what you say or how much proof you give them about whatever topic, some people still prefer to stick their heads in the sand and pretend to not know the truth even when it smacks them in the face.

2.) Through close personal observation of my own rep points and powes, I have (somewhat) figured out how they work.

3.) Cats WILL try to eat almost anything whether it's edible or not. LOL. :)

4.) How to post pictures on here. :)

Nobody ever told me this before. There are some thing in life where I have to learn the hard way around. Like, when I was a child, I learned that milk has an expiration date. I took in a good mouthful before the taste sunk in. At least I had the decency to run to the sink to spit and gag.

Well, a few days back, I was left a couple boiled eggs to eat. First, I made my coffee and popped in my toast, cracked and peeled the shell, then I microwaved the 2 eggs for 30 seconds. When the timer was up, I hovered my hand over the eggs thinking they weren't warm enough. So, I nuked them for an additional 30 seconds. As the timer finished, I went over to place them out on the counter. I moved over to look for the pepper shaker when the first egg just exploded on me. I was startled by the sound, then I yelped as this pain suddenly appeared on my neck. I got hit with egg white shrapnel. After wiping it off me, I looked at the first mess. I kinda figured it pressurized then popped. So, I had this brilliant idea to relieve the pressure on the second egg with a plastic fork. I stuck it in then-BOOM!!!

Yup, that'll happen.

What's really interesting is it could happen with the cup of coffee. See, sometimes if you heat water fast enough it doesn't boil. The top stays perfectly calm, but the heat is building under the surface. And when the surface is disturbed it ruins the perfect balance and the whole dern thing explodes in one big pop.

I was heating a cup of coffee for my grandmother just a few weeks ago. Put it in the microwave and set it on 2 minutes, because she likes her coffee really hot. The microwave ran for two minutes, then it beeped that it was done, then I heard a BANG! Opened the door and there was coffee all over every square inch of the microwave.

This week I learned that my weight problem is worst than I thought (thank you, mirror :/), but I also learned that getting back to running 3 miles a day isn't going to be as difficult as I thought (yay!).

Haha, concerning what some of you guys said a few posts back, I got my boiled egg surprise about a year ago. To make a long story short, egg was all OVER me XD. It was even more amusing that I'd been ranting about something as the microwave was going, and wasn't thinking straight (if I was, I probably would've remembered that you have to poke holes in things that might explode). I think my diatribe went something like "And I'm SO IRRITATED THAT-" and then the POW :).

What I learned this week is that when you've accumulated too much stuff things tend to disappear even though you swear you remember putting them [insert last place you put them here]. And you can look in every spot you can think of and turn the place upside down and still not find them.. >.<
