How many of the single women out there feel the same way? Dating has not produced anything good for me. Now Im focused on meeting my Soul Mate. That woman God created just for me, as I was created just for her. My thoughts are on focusing my time into the foundation of a relationship that will last a lifetime. I dont want these short term things. If you are a woman thinking like me, let me know.

Well I'm not a woman( or at least i think i'm not) but try the christian singles dating site, if you put your cursor over the word single in the singles forum a picture and link pops up leading to the site. I hear it works fantastic for finding that person you are searching for

I don't believe in soul mates, but that's great that you are taking dating/pursuing someone seriously. Focusing on God is the right foundation to have for a lasting relationship. :)

Yeah I'm definitely in the same boat right now.
And the thing is the word soul-mate is an interesting term because in definition there can be a lot of people that can be intellectually compatible with you, or in other means as well!
But I am definitely waiting to hear from the one God calls me to be with, I'm done doing it all in my terms. Just want to do it all for the Glory of God :) :cool:

I'm glad there are some women who feel the same way. You're so true about how some people click in many areas of your life, but You don't feel God's leading. My choices just lead me to heartache and pain. I want that Woman who is an 11!!!!!! The heart and inner beauty is the most important thing to me now. It's amazing how God and time change what we desire and are looking for in a mate.

i am tired of the heartache i just got out of a 4 year relationship and the girl kept going between me and her ex and i couldnt take it i loved her and i raised her daughter for that 4 years and then the other day she just goes out and gets back with him i am tired of the worldly relationship i am going to let god be in the steering wheel he has the perfect woman picked out for me i need to stop trying to do it myself because all it leads to is heart ache and pain and suffering its not worth it. i want a good christian woman who loves god with all her heart and soul because i have been called in the ministry and i want a woman who will stand by me and follow me on my journey with god serving him completely

You are on the right track. I've never dated (I know it sounds like I live under a rock) but honestly, I've refused doing it precisely because of the reasons you say. Specially after reading "I kissed dating goodbye". I think it's a better idea to get know the person deeply, what their thoughts, their character and their values. Dating is trying to live in fantasy world and marriage will take you to reality.
