We always like to talk about how we are so different from the stereotypes about us. How 'bout a change? What are some of the stereotypes that are true about you?

I am a bachelor so I rarely cook (unless top ramen counts in which case I cook allot).

Wow, that's hard. I even asked and I can't think of one. Maybe someone else can help. I'm white (at least I look it), female, blonde, single, late 20's, college graduate, Christian, etc... I'm also Spanish and Portuguese. I'm a singer/songwriter. I can only think of how I've gone against the stereotype.

-I'm Canadian and I say 'eh', but will make a conscience effort to say/write 'hey' instead when conversing with Americans. Just cus I ever so often get the obnoxious american pointing it out  I, in turn, point out all the 'ya'll's'. I once was talking to guy on here from NY, and he would pronounce the word 'pockets' like 'pawkets', and 'tomorrow' like 'tomorra'. It was super cute hehe

-I have a Macbook and study at Starbucks like the typical university student

How else do you pronounce pockets? I don't really say y'all much. I not a lik'er, omg'er, etc... I'm stuck. Someone help. I can't think of a stereotype I fit.

Funny story. My brother works in Williston N.D. (so basically Canada), and the last time he was back here he said 'eh'. It was incredibly funny and now we just say he's Canadian.

I know how to do stereotypical man things, like cook over fire, fish, drive a manual and change engine fluids. Also I watch Football.

I do stereotypical Christian things like, go to church and complain about the worship music in my Small group, go hiking on the weekends, play Ultimate Frisbee and Drink Copious Amounts off coffee during my social outings to the stereotypical coffee shop.

I Read popular fiction written by C.S. Lewis, John Bunyan and John Milton.

I order the same things at Starbucks and Denny's, almost every time. (White Choco Mocha / Grand Slamwich)

I run a stereotypical amount of distance before my stereotypical home workout video exercise, however I usually forego the Facebook Publications associated with most home workout connoisseurs.

I stereotypically "struggle" with my weight during the holidays.

I consider myself a stereotypical Facebook user.

I'm 50% Mexican, and I love spicy food. :)

Uh....other than that, I'll have to think a while. I'm kind of an oddball, so this is really hard.

-I'm a stereotypical girl and get choked up watching movies like The Notebook, Romeo + Juliet, etc. (basically anything with intense feelings), and if a guy cries in the movie, then I have tears streaming lol

I guess in some ways I'm a stereotypical Christian in that I am there all the time. I arrive Sundays at 7am and I usually don't get home until at least 2. I go to the midweek service, many classes that they offer, and any other events. I work pretty much every event. I host tables at teas, do worship at almost everything, stuff bulletins, and make coffee. Then I also "hang out" once or twice a week in the office to answer phones, download sermons onto the website, make cd's and copies, edit, type, create bulletin boards, etc...
I have been dubbed the "coffee angel" by the worship team because I'm there before everyone and always coffee made by the time anyone arrives.

Girlie: love shopping, shoes, chocolate, cooking, cleanliness, flowers/plants, things that smell amazing
Cop: love guns, donuts, driving fast
Tomboy: love my jeans, trying new/daring things
Redhead: freckles, sunburns and...what some folks call "temper" I prefer to call being "passionate" about things :)

I love nail polish, getting my hair done, and some forms of shopping.

I say dude, and I can (unfortunately) do a valley girl accent quite well.

I like bright colors.

I love to drink coffee.

I have an iPhone.

I don't like to get dirty. Like I didn't play in the mud all that often as a kid. I did climb trees though. And I'm willing to get dirty being a nurse, so maybe this wasn't a good example.

When I pms, I want chocolate.

I'll update the list if I think of any thing else.

I'm just listing my stereotypes. I've never been accused of being a hipster before.

No Skinny Jeans, No pre-taste in Music, No PBR, no glasses, no Awkward "facts" to wield upon unsuspecting victims.

I have no idea what you look like Liamson, but I can't picture you as a skinny jeans type of guy. In fact, I'd say that a lot of males that frequent the singles forum aren't the skinny-jeans type of guys. Just a hunch. (Maybe Nautilus...maybe)

True to my introverted nature, I do not seek group activities.

I need my alone time.

I'm sensitive and perceptive.

I'd rather go for a nice quiet hike for an hour than hang out with a large group of acquaintances for an hour.

Long stretches of socializing with no breaks wears me thin.

I prefer quiet animals over loud ones.

And I am socially awkward.

I'm a stereotypical introvert. :p

But since introverts are kinda on the rare side...I'm still not a stereotypical person of my culture, so at least I can walk away smug about that. :D (Yes, I take pride in being the weird one). lololol.

Im awkwardly unstereotypical to a degree. I love to cook which is a pretty beneficial skill in wooing the ladies, but at the same time I am probably the biggest sci-fi/fantasy nerd and biggest football fan at the same time. Though true to stereotypes...white men can't jump

My daughter actually Tans. her hair is red enough that she still occasionally will argue that it is not red, it's orange.

I don't fit with many "girlie-girl" stereotypes (aside from things related to nature that I cannot control, but those don't really count).
But otherwise here goes:

I like chocolate.
I can cook halfway decent.
I like bright colors (wearing them or making crafts with them).
I am pain tolerant.
I fuss over baby animals in cutesy voices.
I'm good at describing subtle thoughts in long sentences.

That's about all I can think of. :p
