I'm not really into Dr Who myself... Seems an unreal world....
But it has been going a long time. Last I heard it was filmed in Cardiff area.

Its my escape from the real world sometimes....

Not everyone is a Doctor Who fan... and frankly.. I wouldn't be either if it wasn't for the hubs to introduce me to the show :p

I don't have anything against Dr Who fans, but the two huge fan bases that I don't get are Whovians and Trekkies...

I kind of get Star Wars fans because I think X-wings, TIE-fighters, stormtrooper outfits and darth vader are the coolest things to ever happen to sci-fi and I'm not even into sci-fi!

80's/early 90's comedies and action films. That was a golden age for feel-good popcorn flicks.

I also dig some of the classics. The Godfather, Schindler's List, The Shining, Apocalypse Now, Shawshank Redemption, Bridge on the River Kwai etc. There's hardly an old academy award winner I don't like.

Different nowadays. People are either trying to be politically correct, pretentious, or both-and.

But I do love the new Godzilla and King Kong movies. Ohhhhh do I love them. My girlfriend tells me they bring out the little boy in me...probably a bad thing.

Super 8 was a great recent movie. But it was made like an 80's film. Dang.

I'm rambling now, Zeroturb! Sorry!

Think it was the last time I went to a cinema. Though I may have been once after. It cost £2.65 each person as we paid an extra 50pence for a seat in the balcony. A gf I was with back then (My first gf... I was in my mid 30's) saw that the movie was on and she wanted to watch it. It was Johnny English when it first came out. I dont think I've been since then as the prices today have risen as they have closed the old cinemas and opened new fancy ones at fancy prices not many can afford. Last I heard it was £20 per person! So for the same cost of paying for three people one can buy a whole new television with a built in DVD player.

They have to do that because the movie industry is loosing money due to piracy.

I don't know what genre really this is, but I like a combination of a laughter, suspense and drama in a movie...I don't like something scary nor sad story though I may watch but I wouldn't like the feeling afterwards
