Each day we go through a series of events that either make us feel good, feel bad or don't affect us much, but most of us have something that we always count on to make us feel good each day. For some it might be spending time with kids, or helping someone, spending time with friends, or having a good conversation..

So what is the one thing that you find most fulfilling during your day??

Inquiring minds want to know! :)

It can also be something like listening to a good sermon, catching up with family and friends on facebook, losing yourself in prayer, working out, cleaning/organizing, etc..

I'm re-discovering the beauty of casting all my cares on God through prayer. I just did that and it just feels so refreshing. I guess it can be a combination of all the things you mentioned especially spending time with my closest friends...but at the end, communication with God is the most fulfilling of all. Sometimes I just need to have those intimate moments with Him by praying, reading and/or writing all I need to say.

If I feel that I have somehow made a contribution to others in some way, it has been a good day. I don't want to be like the lazy servant. My King is watching to see what I'm doing with all He's given me.

i like to do atcs of kindness that people have no clue that it was I who did them... randomly do these and i am sure you'll feel more fullfilled even for a bit... like buying extra set of crackers to put in your car and everytime you see a beggar you can give them some instead of just lending money which could possibly only go to sindicates (not all but most here in the cities)... in the office, leave candies or tidbits of food for your office mate.

Feeling like I accomplished something, wether it be working out, getting some studying done, cleaning my house, or reading me bible. just getting something done worth doing makes be feel like i did a good job that day. ^_^. . . . . .some days.

other days i get really stressed and no matter how much a have to do i didn't get enough done. >_<

For me it all depends on the day... Anything from a compliment from one of the kids (I'm a nanny and have nephews) to getting lots of work done or receiving a text from someone I haven't talked to in a while... :) sometimes the little things can really make a day special!

I agree 100%. You seem to also have a 'go get em' attitude from what I've seen of your posts. :) I admire anyone who is driven to meet their goals and not satisfied with being complacent.

For me, connecting with God is a given for fulfillment.

I also feel my best when I've accomplished something. During the day, what fulfills me at work is trying to be THE best as well as really influencing and educating my clients. I also looove learning about how to be better from my colleagues and mentors, I feel blessed to be surrounded by a lot of wisdom. At home, what fulfills me is pleasing my parents, connecting with my siblings, mastering challenging classical piano pieces, cleaning and decorating my apartment, finishing a really good book, and spending time in the sun.

Going for a drive on the highway on the outskirts of town late at night. Its a time i can clear my mind, and be one on one with God. And, if I am able to help someone by giving advice about an issue

Wow I always wondered if anyone else did that! :) Its one of my favorite ways to get back in touch with my self and with God. I often talk to God during those late night excursions and the strange part is that I started doing this way before I became a christian.

Mhmm! Glad to know that there are people out there that do it! :) Thats really neat that you would before you became a Christian. There's just something about the night sky, moon and stars that bring me closer to God.

Yes!! :) And everything is so peaceful too and all the pretty lights from the now quiet streets, homes and businesses make it seem like a dream. :) I always believed there was a God, just didn't believe in the bible.

Without question it is most definitely spending time with and taking care of my daughter. Greatest charge of my life. ^_^

I would have to agree with Catlynn.. My child are what fulfill me in a day. From waking up, to going to work, to fixing my car; they are the reason behind all I do.

When I am at home while my kids go to their dad's house, I am fulfilled by listening to Christian songs, reading my Bible, and just being in prayer. Those things are my rock.

Any and every moment I have with God; enjoyable/meaningful time with others; good solitude/rest, music, and food generally are the highlights of my days. This helps me get through the work, chores, responsibilities, and other peices of life that certainly matter, but are not a source of joy for me.

Things that are fun (in moderation), always help too! I say 'in moderation' due to diminishing returns, and the principle of balance being one of the best practices in life.
