I had fried ones at a classy smorgasbord (all u can eat) restaurant when I was a kid and I thought they were chicken wings because that's what they tasted like - fried chicken wings but my dad was like "Oh no. You know you're eating frog legs?" I laughed and said "yeah right!" thinking he was joking but then he said "well as long as you like it." I checked the tray and sure enough the little sign said frog legs. I didn't care and ate some more

To the OP, The only meat that can remotely come a little bit close to chicken is the meat of wild pigeon (but even here, the latter taste better than chicken as it is much more firmer). Personally, I don't like chicken because after eating (and still do) a variety of exotic meats since childhood, I find its taste as quite plain. And no matter how good one prepares it (chicken) or tried to masks it, I can easily tell
Lev 11:13-21 ¶ And these [are they which] ye shall have in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they [are] an abomination: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray, And the vulture, and the kite after his kind; Every raven after his kind; And the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckow, and the hawk after his kind, And the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great owl, And the swan, and the pelican, and the gier eagle, And the stork, the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat. All fowls that creep, going upon [all] four, [shall be] an abomination unto you. Yet these may ye eat of every flying creeping thing that goeth upon [all] four, which have legs above their feet, to leap withal upon the earth;
