You're not missing anything....first take a screw driver then add a led light and button onto it to turn on like a flashlight....next go into a blue port-o-potty then make some weird whirring/machine like noises and then come out and act like it is the 1800's and that you have time travelled (either forward or backward if forward act like its 2050 and no humans exist only robots) and then call yourself a "time-lord" ....

I watched a few episodes and then was like this is too lame for me so I gave up on it.....

Oh P.S. to be Dr. Who always have a slightly crazed psychedlic look of bewilderment....tis a prerequisite for the role....

For the record all you dr. who-ligans I know it's a police telephone box but I still call it a port o potty with blue paint muhuahahahha....

quick the trashcan with an eggbeater arm cough* I mean daleks are coming....hahaha lolol
Oh wow I thought I was the only one who gave it a chance and found Dr. Who to be quite lacking.

Eh. It's a very British show. Some people get it, some people don't. And for the classic series, you have to grow up with them to appreciate them.
:p

The British are better at crime and drama than at comedy (which they always overdo ) (don't kill me please)

Yea I found it dull after a while and not very intellectually stimulating

The girls who travel with the the doctor fall in love with him while the guys get jealous of the doctor and are usually aloof from him. Same plot different setting like 1800's, pirates, civil war etc....just too unreal to have an alien with advanced tech interfering throughout history and the show is out there like some kind of drug trip.....just too weird for me....

The British are great at crime and drama, but they're excellent at comedy. It still depends on the series though. I'd definitely take them over most American comedies.

Agreed. I don't usually watch British stuff, but there was actually one British tv series I thought was really funny.. it was called Spy. The main actor was Darren Boyd. Sadly it only lasted two seasons lol.

Bring it on! I'm not afraid of a blue port-a-potty and those who defend it! Muhuahahhahah! ;)

I must say due to the heavy english accent lol I thought they were saying "tortoise" when he said tardis.......so it took me a while to figure it out (thank you subtitles/Closed captioning)

Movie...series?? This phrase is a contradiction...

I literally just had this conversation with my mom tonight. If it's a movie...then it's not a series. If it's a series, then it's not a movie. Like such as:

Series - 2. a set of related television or radio programs, especially of a specified kind.

Movie - a story or event recorded by a camera as a set of moving images and shown in a theater or on television; a motion picture.

Okay, so...now that we have that out of the way... I have a terrible time picking favorites. There's no way I could choose.

No problems. You can enjoy what you enjoy. Her eyes kept me entranced for the 2 hours.
Shailene Woodley, right? I haven't seen the movies, but yeah... she's attractive.
