Being the one who gets up to check the whole house when there's a strange noise or chopping up a tree when it falls in your yard or figuring out why the electricity went out or doing repairs on my car......are all things that I do because I have to but would SO much rather have a manly man (in tights? Lol) do all of that instead. Yep.
On that note, any big strong manly men wanna come fix my toilet that's randomly spraying water everywhere? >_<

I figured it out. I have to go buy a part for it tomorrow and fix it. The little hose that puts the new, filtered water into the bowl came off because it's too stretched out or something. The good thing about having to do all of this myself is that I'm learning tons! Lol *end thread derailment*

Your never derailing, catty, milady, and, yeah, I just fixed a toilet a while back, put in a new pump dealy, those kinda things used to be universal and easy , now there are water efficiency kinds, etc., why can't life be simpler? Just leave the toilet alone, go conserve water from all those people who THINK they need green lawns :D

Ironing too, I could really do without, I burn way too many clothes +-.+

I think I'm just having a grumpy "I don't wanna do it" kinda attitude. Lol silly toilet.

While not, technically, single as of yet (been living that way since May, however). For me it's easily being lonely most nights. Thankfully I've found this place and made some friends that have helped with that, still different than having a living, breathing person in the room to talk to.

Valentine's day, lol.

It's designed to mock the single. :p

When I was single, Jan and Feb were the months being single sucked the most for me. For some reason, other times of the year were more bearable.

I'm a neatfreak and I find cleaning oddly enjoyable and relaxing, BUT I hate ironing, drying dishes and making my bed...not sure why :)

I gave up on making my bed......the dog just messes it back up while I'm at work.

Cold winter evenings alone. Fireplaces are for snuggling in front of.
The rest of the year, hiking alone stinks.

catty , you oughta start a 'fix-it' blog for moms :)

Catty, you"re never grumpy to me :)

Maybe bashful, or, happy, or, maybe, even, in a good way, silly, or, even, dopey, but, never, milady , are you grumpy :)

For single Christian men who go about romantic relationships in a healthy and Godly way, there's a bunch of steps to starting a relationship:

1. Meet a new girl
2. Talk to her
3. See if we're compatible
4. See if you'll ever run into her again
5. Still compatible?
6. Can we find a way to hang out more often on a platonic level?
7. Still compatible?
8. Eventually hang out one on one
9. Do we click? Can I see myself with her in 40 years?
10. Can we plausibly get married anytime soon?
11. Ask her out on a date
12. Meet her parents
13. DTR
14. Date for a while
15. Are things still going well for both of us?
16. Now could I marry her?
17. What do my friends/family think of her?
18. What do her friends/family think of me?

18 possible steps, some quite long and complicated, that could potentially come with every girl one meets who is single. Every one of those steps needs a "check" before moving on to the next step, otherwise it all comes crashing down. All the while not knowing who "the one" could be.

THAT is the hardest part about being single IMO.

Killing your own spiders, cooking for one, having to call someone to fix your toilet/sink, whatever else broke or trying to do it yourelf. I'm not the worlds best housekeeper, but that comes from being messy, not single. jajaja
