Here goes mine ->

Generosity

This word truly inspires me. It touches me so deeply. It can make me cry/smile (when I see it in action).

I like "smarmy," because it sounds like what it means.

1
: revealing or marked by a smug, ingratiating, or false earnestness <a tone of smarmy self-satisfaction — New Yorker>

2
: of low sleazy taste or quality <smarmy eroticism>
smarm·i·ly adverb
smarm·i·ness noun

  • Yes, he's a smarmy know-it-all with the personality of a hall monitor, the kind of guy everyone hides from at a Christmas party. —Bill Simmons, ESPN, 2 Aug. 2004

I actually have 2 words I love..both for completely different reasons.

Redemption......because it has to do with atonement, deliverance and rescue...it always reminds me of Christ,
of what He has / is always done / doing in my life.

Sagacious........because it just sounds funny rolling off the tongue, and I feel super smart using it in sentences. Also because I desire to have better judgment in all aspects of my life. I'd like to be considered a bit more wise & astute...lolz..(never gonna happen) :p

I don't know if I have a favorite word, but I do have some that I like.

Flower - It just sounds pretty. And I'm biased because I like flowers. ;)
Gentle - I don't know, but I like this word. I like what it means and I like how it sounds.
Snuggle - It sounds funny. :p

Some other words that come to mind that I also like are kitten, bunny, fluffy, precious, and lavender. :)

To whatevergirl. ;) I like to use this word from time to time. :) Esp. when I'm not in the mood or someone says something really stupid. :)
But I don't think that life is 'whatever'. :) I think if you will think like that -> thn sure -> it will be whatever to you. :)

Facetious

It means flippant, or treating a serious subject with humor.

I just like how it sounds.

I have two favorite words.

Wanderlust- meaning a strong desire or impulse to travel about.
I love this word because it completely describes me. I'm always wanting to go someplace new, do something different, and immerse myself in foreign surroundings.

Serendipity- meaning making a desirable accidental discovery.
Serendipitous- come upon or found by accident.
This word I like because I love experiencing those serendipitous moments. :)

It can describe a visible aspect meaning something like glowing/ sparkling,
that something is beautiful, and that something is amazing

I love it because the first time I came across it was in a Dutch translation of Eat, Pray, Love
The author says she was once asked what she believed (faith- wise) and she replied:
"Ik geloof in een schitterend God" (I believe in a <beautiful / amazing > God ).

WOW!!! I was gonna add "serendipity" to the thread, but you beat me to it!

Also, like the word "wanderlust" for the same reasons as you. ;)
