Thank you, thank you. I'll be here 'til 8.
I have always heard to find other singles is by driving a little too fast and so you get pulled over by a police officer. I have never actually had the guts to do that one myself, I do wave at them though

At work, all my fellow co-workers are females except for one sixty-something year old in the office, who is married. At church, the only other single male is a couple years younger than me, and then the next is probably 20 years older than me. At the gym, I plug my earphones on and look angry because I am in Hulk mode and the gym is not a social club for me, I mean business - so I don't open the opportunity to get to know people.

I recently started going to a larger church in the city on Friday nights, but I like to go there to dance and sing and just receive since I give out a lot at my home church. Because I love being myself and pouring out my adoration to God with out worrying about what people think, I have some what shun away from establishing relationships at the church in the city, except for a few young women I have added on facebook and we encourage each other every so often, but that's really it.

So, I go to some places that have opportunities to get to know people, but I'm not really looking. If I accidentally stumble upon someone one day, then that's cool as well. For the time being, I'm too busy singing, dancing, or going Hulk mode. And CC? I just like to come here and make random cannibal jokes. The end.

One word: e-bay.
Hey no joke! I heard of one woman who sold her house on ebay, with a catch - the winning bid also got her as wife.

No this is not a joke. I wish it were.

I tried the bookstore but only found frumpy, middle-aged women (trying not to think about what that says about me). Went the coffee shops but kept finding married people or those who were too young for the bar scene. At church, mostly couples and single women. I'm in the Christian homeschool world, so that's mostly married people, too.

I guess that leaves the internet. :)
**makes mental note to go to bookstore to check out the frumpy, middle-aged women**

I heard that too. I guess that's one way to do it.

The grocery store.
People gotta eat.
People have to shop to eat.

Try starting in the bread aisle and move towards the cereal racks.

I'm being serious. The grocery store.

I'm not looking. I'm not even sure I want to get married. I say we enjoy the single ride and if God brings us someone, then great, if not don't fret.

That is ironic Reborn because I was just telling a friend of mine that last night. See, she needed to go to the supermarket and I said who knows you might meet Mr. Right in the produce department and to strut right up to him and ask if the melon was ripe or not. God does work in mysterious ways you know. And plus, by meeting him in the produce department at least he eats his veggies. So, its a win for everyone.

This is a change from your earlier stance. I remember you used to post that you were waiting for God to send someone and that you were all for getting married. Is everything okay? :(

It's not my business to know, so don't be compelled to answer this if you don't want to.

Tell them to put a fragile sticker on the box though...

Otherwise... the consequences can be dire. Dire I say.

Bah.

If a woman can't hold up to a bit of shipping,
it's best to find out up front.

Who wants to get stuck with a product like that?

Now I know why I work out.

Forget "resistance training"--this is all about "resilience training"... in order to survive all that "shipping and handling."

Times are changing. LOL Lately I have been thinking about it and I have found myself worried. I'm not ready for marriage yet. Maybe in the future (like a few years from now).

But yeah everything is good, thank you for asking. It's just that I feel I can't trust many people. And I really don't want the responsibility of a serious relationship right now. I have too much on my plate with school.

The church is ruled out for me.because men and women are segregated there and single youth cannot talk to each other.
At work, most are Hindus plus there is a wide chasm between me and most of my colleagues when it comes to age, culture and lifestyle.
At the gym, I am on Hulk mode. Looking for a girlfriend there will be a major distraction.

That only leaves the supermarket, the beach and the petting zoo. Hmm....

What I meant from my post is that it's best to just let go and let God. Don't you all think? I mean of course I have tried to find a guy in the past but I've realized that he's only coming in God's timing, not mine. So I'll just mind my own business and see who comes along. You know marriage and children are HUGE responsibilities, so I am enjoying the relaxing lifestyle that singleness has to offer.
But I do want to get married...someday hehe.
