I see this happen in so many threads. A woman makes a comment about what she likes in a man and then guys post responses to show that they are exactly what the woman is looking for.

Somehow I don't think these responses will earn any dates, but who knows.

Quest
You got it right Quest :D I also think I won't earn a date, cuz Kay's list of languages is more impressive then mine :p

You spend a long time with someone and think this is the person for me.... Then something happens and you get kicked in the head with cold hard logic and reason. Doesn't that just suck when you realize that you are barking up the wrong tree.

Why bother trying to impress anyone? Its just going to end up like road kill when cold hard truth nails you between the eyes.

Target practice anyone?

Find me a man who loves me like my dog loves me and I will have the biggest crush imaginable. One who won't mind when I come home and am not as happy to see him as he is to see me. One who will eat whatever I put in his bowl and will thank me anyway because I wasn't in the mood to prepare something great. One who senses when I am sad and will come and let me know he cares. Wow, and to think some people don't care for dogs.

Most men might be like dogs, but not in the sense your looking for.

That's fine by me love, but you'll have to clean up the mess I make when you walk me in the park.

I think you're under the impression I'm looking for a date. I talk to guys because I like them, not because I think every social interaction is a chance to have a romantic relationship.
Greetings Kay_Kay,

I was just making a general observation about how men respond to women here in the forums, because I see so many threads where some women are complaining about being flirted with all the time.

I didn't say that you were looking for a date. You just mentioned what you like in a man, and my observation is that every-time a woman makes a post like that, the guys all start responding with posts that declare how they fit the description. This appears to me to be flirting, which so many of the ladies here complain about.

I was in a grumpy mood this morning and I believe that my bad feelings were expressed through my post. I believe that I could have worded things better.

No worries, I wasn't offended. A lot of people here take flirting very seriously (which I don't quite understand), I was trying to express that just because I am flirtatious it doesn't mean anything more than that.

I'm sorry you were grumpy, it happens to the best of us. No apology is necessary.

I don't expect much out of her but when I find her I will know:D
10Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
11The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
12She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
13She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.(Love a woman that seeks flax:D)
14She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar.
15She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
16She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.
17She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.(don't want her too manly though:D)
18She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.
19She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.
20She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.
21She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.
22She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.(I love purple silk on a woman:D)

23Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.
24She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.
25Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
26She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
27She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
28Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
29Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.
30Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.
31Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.
