For some reason every time I see this thread I'm reminded of a webcomic parody of the old Gilbert and Sullivan song, "Modern Major General." The parody is called "Every Major's Terrible," a song that talks about a lot of different degrees you can get and why they are terrible. "Just put me down as undecided / Every major's terrible." The one this thread reminds me of is astronomy. "Astronomers all cringe when they hear supermoon and zodiac..."
