Why Can't i get a man whose got a hundred grand.
Maybe cause i haven't showered in a year, and smell like a rear.
I live in a grocery cart in front of wal-mart,
but i'm drivin a Lex thanks to all my government checks ;)

if you don't mind i smell like a behind
or live in front of a store cause i'm so poor,
We could marry and name our kids Larry and Jerry.
Sorry if i'm jumping to far ahead, but i really need a bed.
I'm tired of sleeping in a cart in front of wal-mart
I promise i'm really nice, even though i may have lice. Anyway
Obama gave me a free phone, so call me when you get home.

I need a dude who ain't too rude,
I don't like men who have a 'tude.
When we are out I don't care who pays,
I don't need a dude who funds my ways.
I like to cook, and more than sammiches,
(I need a word that rhymes with sammiches.)
He must love God more than his life,
If I'm to be his future wife,
I'll do my best to be a dame,
With whom he'd want to share his name.
That is the end of my free-styled ad,
Hope the rhyme-scheme was not too bad.

I like to go on my own
Head down the unused road
It doesn't mean I'm alone
I don't struggle under the load

Of worldly cares and worry
and modern stress and strife
I consciously avoid rush and hurry
by choosing an easier life.

I lift my head up to God
Cliche? Yes, but I'm amazed
That the load slides off my bod
And I continue on unfazed.

I don't get in relationships
Don't date and don't snuggle,
The simpler my life, the fewer trips
And falls; I lessen the struggle.

I'm at my best when I'm away from the pack
Urging you on from a distance
I don't need to be in your face to have your back
Always face forward in a fighter's stance.

We're in a fight to remain free
Scratching out our mere existence
Fighting evil and ignorance and apathy
Keeping arms in the Godly Resistance.

We're all on the same way, the same path
Climbing up to Heaven from out of the ditches
And as long as Nod finally takes a bath

Perhaps I'll write a more serious one later, but for the time-being I wanted to have fun. :D

(Sung to the tune of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air)

Now this is a poem all about how
I want my life to get flipped, turned upside down
And I'd like to take a minute so just sit right there
I'll tell you how you can be with this maiden fair

In southeast Missouri born and raised
In the church is where I spent most of my days
Chillin' out with friends, relaxin' all cool
Getting together in Bible studies outside of school
Now I'm needing a guy who's always up to some good
And never makes trouble in my neighborhood
He'll never get in fights so my mom won't be scared
Dad'll say "Yo, take my daughter, I approve of your flair!"

You gotta be strong with God and good with Jesus
And not focus on the world and what you think pleases
If anything I could say that type of man is rare
But I think "Nah, forget it, I know they're out there!"

He'll be funny and smart, and polite and great
And he'll have to deal with me, a giggly mate
He'll look at me, and think "She's finally here!"
And we'll think "Man we made it, to the land of mar!...riage. (marriage)"

The ending's a little rough but hey. That's what I got for now. :D
