Did you ever have one or do you still have one?
Did you drop demands when you got older?
I had a 10 point list when I was 20 or so. Heard that on a tape. A woman wanted a man. She had 10 points: a worship leader or something, piano player, dunno what, specific things she asked God for and He gave her exactly the man she wanted. So she said: You have to ask specifically. Otherwise God doesn't know what you want.
Oh.
Okay well lemme see, so I also made a 10 point list.
He had to be a vegetarian.
He had to be a race bicyclist.
He had to be a virgin and not even have had a relationship or kissed anyone.
He had to be more years saved than me, not a young believer.
The rest I can't remember.

Lol my ex didn't match one of these points, oh yes he had dark hair, that was also a point. It was really black LOL but fake.
He had lived together with someone for years, was just saved, hated biking, loved pig and chicken, only thing he ate was meat. Even turned me into a meat eater.

The list I have now reminds me of Nu2see's list: it has to breathe,
hahahahahahaha.
Christian and God first, that's about it.

So what's your list?

I have exactly three demands: She must take care of herself(physically), she must love Disney movies, and she must choose gummi bears over gummi worms(that's a deal-breaker). Also if she's a vegetarian.. don't try to make me one. I refuse to eat the food that my food eats too often. :p

Oh yes I remember another point. He had to be messy.
Man he could be the boss of a clean service, he was so horribly neat and tidy.

I'm not looking for a girl so I don't have a list of demands for her to meet. If I meet a girl I want to go out with she would probably not meet all the items on a must-have list I made anyway. Probably better to talk to her first and then see if I can deal with any shortcomings she has. Only fair, because I have a few shortcomings myself she'll have to deal with.

*Lynx knocks over a glass of milk, shrugs and walks away.

Never knew it was that easy to make a girl happy...

Oi, the last time I did this 'list' thing did me no good lol. I had only one thing on my list. One thing! He had to be smarter than I was. Of course, at that time I thought I was too smart that I could even save myself from eternal damnation (no offense, non-osas). And it happened and well... disaster.

But hmm, this could be fun. So I'll start making my list again, only this time, important things first:

- Saved and in love with Jesus
- Attends a church regularly
- Helps out in ministry
- Can cook. (+100 points if chef)
- Is into music (+100 points if can play a musical instrument or sing, or into sound technology xD)

Not too hard to find xD In fact, I can already think of two people I know. Both single and available xD

But alas! My blessed singleness is still at its peak! So, maybe later.

She had to have the love of God in her heart to share with me.

A believer.

Someone with a good heart and integrity enough to earn my respect and trust.

He must be totally in to me and also me into him, emotionally mature and with good communication skills.

Never really thought about it, but I would prefer God to do the choosing for me.
Only he knows the true heart of a person.

Yes looking back it's so weird that she said that. As if God doesn't know and I don't have a clue, so I can only come up with nonsense.

Maybe I should clarify that, I've never had a deep desire to find a bloke thingy :) get
married, have kids, work 9-5 and live happily ever after.

Ive kind of yearned for more!

In my teens and 20s, 30s I just wanted to be with God's people and do something for God.
So I did Sunday school, youth work, volunteered at Christian evangelistic meetings.

Volunteered in youth camps, worked for an evangelistic charity for a while. Met loads of
interesting people along the way, mostly elders pastors, leaders who were already
married or singles like me but who went to different churches or lived in different
parts of the country.

Then late 30s went to another church, joined worship team, got into evangelists events.
By that time most my age were married.

Now looking after elderly aunt takes up most of my time, so don't have as much
free time left these days.

Various people keep volunteering me for different things saying you should
do this or that, but it's the
wrong time to get involved just now. Maybe in the future there will be further
opportunities to get involved in God's business.

If I did meet that someone special, he would have to accept that I want more than
just being a stay at home person to do his washing. :p

Hopefully we could partner together in some work for God. The older I'm getting the
more I feel that there are other things more important than secular work and living
in a nice house putting feet up each night watching TV.

Does that make sense or have I lost the plot. :)

Ok here's mine...

She had to have long wavy dark hair and brown eyes
She had to have a nice smile and be friendly
She had to like the outdoors
She had to like animals

So I basically painted myself into a corner...

1. Pizza
2. Helicopter
3. 4 unmarked white panel vans
4. Tarp/Tent setup leading from the doors to the vans, so travel between the building and vans can't be monitored.
5. 1.2 million in non-sequential bills.
6. a stack of napkins for the pizza.
