This only expresses how silly and unfortunate that our 'threads' get so off kilter and course that it makes absolutely NO difference what comment we make, because the topic is so secular and having nothing to do with CHRIST and this website. I should really not have responded, because it is as usual, a total waste of time.
Well! I'm glad you showed up. I think we've all missed your cheeriness.

If you yourself take the time to post, and you usually do with these characteristic snide remarks, how in the world does that make you better and more righteous than anyone else?

In other words, if you do the exact same as the masses, how, exactly, are you able to judge them?

A few of your posts are kind and encouraging. But so many others are like the one above. It's as if you have at least 2 distinct personalities: "Edify", and "Obliterate Everyone Else with Self-Righteousness."

As for this being a "secular" topic, it talks about everyday Christians living our everyday lives who are encouraging everyday people, as well as helping to support their incomes to provide for their families. Last I knew, these are things God asks us to do out of love for Him.

How in the world you see that as having no value but so proudly imply (or in other posts, sometimes blatantly state) how advanced you are compared to everyone else... Simply doesn't make any sense.

Do all posts have to be discussing Christ or the Bible?
This is the singles forum and is not the bible discussion forum.
SOME christians do tip! It is not a secular topic.
Are you always so sweet? Add more creamer, it is loaded with sugar:p

Do you recommend another chain's coffee?
Hey Bro, do you have Wawa's or Quick Check's in your region? They both have really good coffee that's already prepared and you pour it and tweek it to your liking.

I go to Wawa's all of the time. I agree, very good coffee.

I'm not a great fan of "going out for coffee" ( just doesn't make sense, I can brew a whole pot for a fraction of what they charge for just one cup) but from what I hear Caribou Coffee makes a good cup. Likewise if your part of the country is anything like mine you probably have at least one locally owned coffee house mini chain.

I never understood this, I mean how does something like this become law?
Powerful unions, my brother, powerful unions.

I always like what you share and am sorry you feel that way. This thread pertains to fellowship. Nothing wrong with these types of threads when friendship and simple pleasures are shared in love. :)

Honestly, I do not know anyone under the age of 35 in any local church congregation in my county that does not 'shack up". Being a CHRISTIAN seems to have NO effect on that scenario.
I find it interesting that you have such a huge opportunity for making a difference in your own community but instead you come here posting your self-righteous condescension towards persons who are actually committed to living a moral Godly life.

A lot of times, the "problem" was totally normal... like a 6-month old male animal who had recently developed two "tumors".
HAHAHAHA ---- and, I bet they were "positioned within close proximity of each other" too! ;)

Not every thread needs to be "deep into the Word"...

Some threads are even meant for nothing but silliness! ( And, that is okay. )

This thread is simply meant for "conversation on a subject" -- an avenue by which fellowship can be had...

OK, the cup of coffee I got the other day at the drive-through made me think of a thread idea. The coffee lid was flawed, resulting in some messy sipping during my commute. But even when the lid is made correctly, sometimes if the spout is right by the seam of the cup, it results in:

Now, Starbucks and such is one of those places where I only tip sometimes, usually, if I have change I want to get rid of. I am more likely to tip, however, if they put the spout of the lid opposite the cup seam to prevent this.

What are examples of good customer service that may be your "tipping point?" It could be any customer service related situation, not just coffee. For those reading where tipping is not the custom, what are some ways in which you appreciate the worker doing that little extra something that makes your experience all the more enjoyable?
I joined a new bank about 2-3 months ago. As I signed up and got everything situated, I got a call from them about an hour after I left the office. I told them immediately that I have none of my information with me because I was out with friends. They said, "Oh, no. We don't need any information. We just wanted to see how you were doing with the set-up and everything. We're just checking up on you."

By far the best thing ever.

Oh, and since this thread hasn't been derailed by a cat photo bomb yet, let me be the first to offer this pic of one of the resident cats at a Cat Emporium in London. They offer kittycats to make your visit to their café more pleasant. I wish they had a café like that in the USA! =^..^=
