I have read the bible, I have heard it preached to me my whole life, I have worked hard at trying to live for God. But here is the thing, as much as the Christians have convictions and what seems to be proofs of his existance, and that he actually cares about the people on this planet, other beliefs have their own as well, and it is just as strong for them. But honestly it has always been more of a burden to try and live by every single law in the bible, I am a good person, I care about others and want to help people. Again, I have not completely discarded the idea that their is a God, because to me Evolution does not make any since at all. But even if there is a God, I just have not seen that he lovesthe people on earth, not just from my experiences, but from my friends and families as well. And honestly the Christians are so much more judgmental than anyone I've ever seen!!!! I have found much more people accept me for who I am outside of the church world, of course my best friend is a Christian, but she is not judgemental because she has been judged by the church world for alot of the same things as me. The only time the people in the church world accepts me is when I hide who I really am from them with what I know they want to see from a preachers daughter. But anyways over all, I am open for God to show me his existance and that he cares, but he hasn't. I still read the bible, and my dad is really into studying church history, and has me read alot of books about it. I understand where Christianity comes from.

See I think you have many miracles in your life but you are not seeing it. Spend some time outside and observe nature, there it is beautiful. Also I see that you don't know much about a Christian and his journey. Christians who are judgmental are not always Christians, just as there is Muslims who are not terrorist as some americans think.

Separate God from His believers. I know it can be challenging, but if all we knew of God we learned from how Christians behave, I don't see why anyone would believe at all. Thankfully, that's not all we know of Him and that's not even how we should know Him. We can have a personal relationship and understand it in our own minds, free of judgement from flawed, sinful, judgmental people.

Accept first that many many many Christians are doing it wrong and then figure out how to do it right.

I have been raised in church all my life, but with my dad abandoning me and being homeless for a while, and my brother betraying my family, the last 7 years have been really hard on me, and I've wanted to and have attempted suicide several times, and I often fantasize about death. And to me it looks like the God of the bible is not so much of a God I would want to even bother with serving, and living with my step father who is a pastor it seems like all I've had to deal with the past several years is not the kind of life a loving god would provide for someone. I am very confused on my beliefs but I have to make my own choice and I am not sure on which way to go, I guess I need a very pronounced sign that if there is a God, he loves me even with them bits of myself I can not help. I would like to know of some other people around my age going through the same things.
Hey I was there.

The sign is Jesus Christ.

You think your life is bad, imagine how bad it could be if God didn't love you? But instead judged us... and gave us what we really deserve... and what do you think we deserve? The world will tell you, you deserve to be Happy, you deserve to make it in life and have riches and everything. That's pride and arrogance. Unfortunately, not just you, but everyone deserve hell... and your life as it is... is a BLESSING incomparison to what we deserve, hell. What God has for us right now is good, life is good because were not in hell right now. God is patient and tolerant of our sinful ways and your not being tormented because of his love. And he wants to make sure of that... through Jesus Christ, he died for you because loves you.. and doesnt want you to end up in hell.

So you see life is pretty great when put in the true perspective. Whatever is your problem, give it to God and talk to your pastor dad ok? Love your family and hold on... ok... lots of love, feel free to PM me ANYTIME ok

I see where your coming from...

Its not about YOU being a good person. Thats why you dont see the difference. You see, the thing is you can't do good. Other religions will tell you, you can do good but the truth is we can't. You said your a good person, I'm sorry to tell you that your not a good person. Thats the bad news. And the difference between Christianity and all other religions. Christianity is a reliance in God completely, while other religions make a list of laws for you to do. Yes theres laws and rules in Christianity... but thats done because we love God... not because we HAVE TO for salvation.

Judgement is a good thing, but people can make it an evil thing.

Say I saw a girl eating a slice of pizza.

Judging wrongly.... or as people might call it, being judgemental.

I could say.. (yelling) Hey you, dont you know you'll get fat if you eat that?

Judging rightly.

I could say.. (whisper in her ear) Hey Britney, remember your on a diet, if you want I'll eat that for you?

See the difference? It's about the heart and how you judge. So judgng is a good thing cause in God, it can help us watch out for each other, lovingly ok?

What do you think?
