Okay, so about 5 or 6 months ago I lost my virginity to pure lust. I have never really addressed the issue. I have asked for forgiveness, however, I feel such disgust and sadness that when and if I find a wife I will not have saved myself for her...

Any advice, scripture or comments?

Be as blunt as you want.
Look, I lost my virginity the same way I imagine you did. Filled with lust, and just like "I gotta get rid of this virginity crap". Quite frankly now that I have someone who I'm deeply in love with, and one day plan on marrying, I feel bad for giving myself away so cheaply.

Especially sense she herself has managed to successfully resist temptation.

Here's the thing though, it isn't a tremendously huge deal. It's a sin sure, and you should repent for it. But it isn't any worse than any other sin. If your future spouse can't accept that you've committed some sins in the past, then she isn't worth having in the first place.

Repent, fix your behavior, move on with life.

My dear, you are not the only one. I do not say this to minimize your sin, but to remind you that there are people (good Christian men and women) doing this. We do not have a high priest who cannot relate to all of our temptations.
I've been there. I know it feels like you could have fallen any harder or farther. I does feel like the end of the world. It's not.

I saw the post when looking at the chat rooms. I wanted to know what the awfull sin. I know that I am not a teen but I am called unto the ministry. I agree with pusparinjani. I will add one more thing. You must forgive yourself too. Too many times people will ask God to forgive them and he does. But, they fail to forgive themselves.

Just know that once you have confessed it with your mouth, God forgives and forget and you have to forget your mistakes and look pass them ok.:)
