and I don't see any mockery in this God knows our hearts and intentions and as Christians we shouldn't jump to thinking we know what people mean when they say things if you don't think its appropriate to say then don't repeat it but I don't think God wants us not to laugh and be silly. I think they was cute

Soo...what do you call the pick up lines in Songs of Solomon, though they are outdated, they definitely are pick up lines...Now none of us are actually trying to pick up girls with these (they wouldn't go very far), we are using them as jokes and not being uptight about it. You're being a little to deep about it. It's not that serious, but some have a bigger sense of humor then others and others don't.

God has a sense of humor, believe it or not, is where we get from..

So says the one who preaches about not mocking. (Right after Jesus said to love God, He said to love your neighbor.) I'm not criticizing the words themselves, I'm criticizing the appearance of hypocrisy behind them (appearance - I'm not making a definitive judgement).
