At what point did it become permissible to take vague verses out of context and use them to prove a silly, opinionated point? Your point of view doesn't keep with Paul's language, and is out of harmony with dogma taught throughout the rest of scriptures. Lastly, it's undetermined what exactly is meant by "foreknew", as only God knows who he knew before hand.

This whole thread is silly, and is just yet another example of human nature to try and put parameters around the systems outside of our fathomable comprehension. To put it in ghetto terms, "Stay in yo' own circle, bruh."

We are saved by grace, not of ourselves. We endure by grace, not of ourselves. If you didn't earn salvation, neither can you lose it. When God saves a person, He first gives them new life which the scriptures refer to as being born again, then He draws them to faith and repentance. All of that is by His grace and mercy. He transforms your desire to resist into desiring Him and His fullness. We must remember it was the Lord who drew us to be found by Christ, it was the Lord who made us humble to receive His offer of salvation, it was the Lord who saved you, and it will be the Lord who preserves you. Grace changes one's rebellion to complete surrender. Thus, we can never want to fall away, and thus, the Lord is the the Perfecter and Finisher of our faith. To suggest otherwise, that we make the choice of the end, is to say we are the perfecter and finisher of our faith.

Remember our free will is either in bondage to sin, or freed by grace. There is never a middle ground by which we stand. Jesus said that all who sin is a slave to it. But He also said, if the Son sets you free you will be free indeed.

Don't be fooled, the devil wants you to doubt. God is greater than him, He will preserve His children.

I agree with you, that we do not earn our salvation- but at the same time, we can lose it. We are called to repent, and repentance means that we do not continue (or start) a sinful life.

I do like your point that God changes our rebellion into surrender. We can lose salvation, but we won't because God brings us to Him, and we will never want to leave once we see who God really is, and the love He gives us.

some people have different views. What are yours?
well...... jesus word says a name can be erased from the book of life, unless a different translation, right or wrong, is used to say something else.

and..... god's word says (it is written, never changed) god does as he pleases, whatever he wants.

and.... god says(it is written, never changed) he has mercy on whom he chooses, and he hardens whom he chooses.

god is sovereign, creator, king, ruler, judge, ..... so he's in charge.

The book of life, is, for, this, room, in, my, Father's, mansion, and, those, who, perish, did, miss, out, on, inheriting, the earth, here, and, enjoying, the, heavens, above, but, hell, is, not, in, store, for those, who, didn't, find, the, King, here, and, become, inspired, like, all, who, found, here. Rather, you're, sealed to, the, Holy, Spirit, and, taken, home, and, added, to, the, son's, book, of, life, there.

God is, fair and just, and, 100%, had, a, chance, to, find, the, kingdom, of, God, here, on, earth, versus, going, home, early. Not, everyone does, though, you, just, misunderstood.

Calvinism also known as T.U.L.I.P explains this very well. But in a short sense, no we can not lose our salvation, before we were ever born God knew who was going to heaven and who was going to hell. So in that sense we have always had salvation or we never have had it. There is no gaining and loosing, sorry for you who believe and teach differently.

You, falsely, teach, user, prayforsaving, for, the, 144,000, versus, the, martyrs, explaining, before, you, were, born, He, predestined, you, to, inherit the, earth (144,000), and, you, to, go, home, and, inherit, there (martyrs). No, one, goes, to, hell, a, fear, based, contradiction, to, God, is, love.

I don't mean any offense but your usage of comma makes it difficult not just for the youths, but also for the adults to understand what you have typed down. I haven't yet made sense of what you were trying to tell prayforsaving except for the last sentence. And you are wrong when you say that no one will go to hell. All those that sin and don't repent and don't accept God as their personal saviour and don't get baptized in the water and The Holy Spirit won't enter Heaven. The only other place for them to go to is hell.

Any, other, anti-Christ's, want to, comment?
So I'm an anti-Christ because I told you to stop using so many commas? I'm trying to understand what you are saying, and I'm ready to listen to what you have to say if you can explain it to me again in a different way.

You don't trust God to give youth wisdom? I can tell you the truth is not those commas.

When we truly realize Hebrews 10:22 and how we have had our hearts sprinkled clean of an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water, we will also understand that everything that doesn't agree with this fact is gainsaying.

I believe that life is difficult and that sometimes there are accidents and failures. SZometimes people just don't have the heart and they fail you, sometimes you fail people, regardless, life is tragic and we cannot avoid the fact that people suffer and that there are always repercussions.

oh you most definitely can there is no such thing as "once saved always saved" just to keep it short and simple if it was that easy to be saved then no one would be in church and no one would try to live a life with holiness. Everyone would do what they want to do and then go to God on their death bed or something
