i don't want to get into a big argument either....but one thing that made me curious was how intensely my school supported the day of silence. I know that public schools aren't allowed to show any sort of...opinion, i guess...on political stuff, or really much of anything. It just made me wonder how much the event classified as pro-homosexuality, and how much it classified as simply against bullying. eh, just a thought.

It's not really a political movement whatsoever. It's about rallying against homophobic people who bully kids simply because they're gay. A high school should DEFINITELY support it, if they support ALL of their children NOT being bullied.
