Hello, I'm going to cut the story short here considering I'm sobbing my heart out and I just want answers. My best friend and I have had fake profiles for awhile now, and I've thought about getting caught sometimes. But tonight, I was invited to a conversation with a guy on kik (the fake profile) I didn't even know and she invited me. It's hit me this is a horrible thing to do, and I don't know if I should tell my mom or not.i want to shut it all down without causing drama between my friend and I. Help, please!

Well, you have to make a decision. Risk causing drama between your 'friend' who doesn't seem like a positive influence on you anyways, and doing the right thing. Or keep doing what you know is wrong for the sake of making someone else unhappy with you.
I suggest do the right thing, end it, delete the profile and if your friend has a problem with it, oh well. You need to focus more on yourself, and your own conscience in this situation, and less about the influence of someone else.
As far as telling your mom, i don't know. I'm assuming you're under 18, since you didn't list your age. It may be a good idea to tell her. Sometimes it helps to have accountability to keep us out of trouble.

Hey,

I am happy you posted this. I see from your first post on May 9th...your 13. I researched kik and found that it's used as a creepy sexting site to send nude pictures. Not a good app.

What is Kik? And is Kik okay for Kids? | Be Web Smart Please cierra, you said also you feel disconnected with God. I don't want anyone to feel that way, but behavior such as this is making you disconnected with the Lord. I found God when I was 18 and I want to tell you he is watching us all and you have to change. It's either the ways of the world young lady or God. Please pick God.....I know he wants you to have an amazing life. God Bless you in your decision to come clean to your mom and to get rid of friends who do not understand what is more important.
