I find that, all through my life, I have never found someone like me. Sure I may share some traits with my friends but I see several sets of people around me who practically have the same life routine; same hobbies, same personality, same reactions to emotional stimuli etc. My situation has lead to me feeling slightly alone at times, despite generally getting on well with everyone I meet, as I have never met someone, in all my (almost) 16 years on this Earth, who was quite like me.

I thought that joining this site would be a step towards meeting people like me (people in my area/school are usually militant atheists and I feel that my Christianity is the most important part of my being and thus people truly like me would have to be Christian) but I would like to hear your advice and whether other people out there are/were in a similar situation.

I was in pretty much the exact same situation as you, and am still in it but college instead of school. I see what you mean about all the people being the same. I have never met anyone like me neither. The best way to find Christian friends is to go to Church youth groups and stuff.
