I hated maths, up to the age of 16 I was seriously good at it no matter how much I hated it. Then it was time for my higher (dunno what the us equivalent is) and it got hard and then I wasn't good at it any more lol!

I had the same thing with Maths and Physics. SO boring, but I just did it to get a good grade and get it over with.

I liked Geometry until we got to Tangent, Sine, and Cosine. Simply because I had trouble remember/knowing how to set it up on the calculator (we never learned it by hand).

We did, win the sin, cos, tan buttons. It was still awful. So much so I hve blocked it from my brain and now literally cannot remember what it was for or about! :)

I hated all my subjects equally. :)
i'm a nerd I loved school but got confused with all the different versions of History that conflicted and contradicted each other even though the authors all claimed to speaking about the same event and claimed to be truthful. then I was introduced to Political science and I realize what propaganda and spin meant and it made more sense.

When I went to school we only had one history class each year and no political science classes. In history we learned american history and the functions and setup of the government. I have a feeling they did away with all that. :( We learned all the about the Constitution, the amendments, the Bill of Rights, the Electoral College, The branches of government (legislative, judicial, executive), etc..

Thats basically my story with Geometry as well. But I find I'm actual the best at subjects I enjoy like history or English.

For those of you who don't think Geometry can be hard, I encourage to take a look at this three-part volume:
