are you saying ghosts are funny because there not. They are also something that you dont have to bother with. If you dont bother them they wont bother you trust me. you can also ignore them if you want to.
Riiight, just like a bee. Zero vendetta. . .

Did any of these sightings point you in the direction of a grammar and punctuation book? (j/k!)

Sounds like you have some ethereal stalkers. I can't say that all "ghosts" are demons, because I don't always hear stories of ghosts with a terrible vengeance. Nonetheless, tread softly, and pray!

So ALL spirits MUST be evil demons? What about angels? The Bible teaches very clearly that there are indeed spirit beings who can connect with and appear in our physical world. The Bible identifies these beings as angels and demons. Angels are spirit beings who are faithful in serving God. Angels are righteous, good, and holy. Demons are fallen angels, angels who rebelled against God.

I definitely don't think all ghosts are evil, or demons. I believe that some ghosts are just souls that maybe never got to do something in life and have unfinished business in this world, or are just looking over their loved ones, or possibly souls just scared of moving on.

I don't know many people here on the Christian forum who actually think the soul remains on earth wandering around for unfinished business.

Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

As wikipedia correctly mentions...

Orthodox Christians believe that after death, the soul is judged individually by God, and then sent to either Heaven [sic] or Hades/Hell (temporary torture).[citation needed] At the Last Judgment, God judges all people who have ever lived. Those that know the Spirit of God, because of the sacrifice of Jesus, go to Heaven whilst the damned experience the Lake of Fire (permanent torture). The Orthodox Church does not teach that Purgatory exists.

Who knows? Maybe God allows certain spirits to stay to watch over people or finish their worldly business. Like gives them a pass...

Whatever the cause or source of ghosts, I'm pretty sure not all of them are demons or evil, or else every haunted house would be dangerous.

Got any bible verses to back up those claims?

I think that if you would see it again, so you should ask "Who are you" and if it will not answere say to it to get out of there in Jesus Christ name it can be two way what can happen:

1 - it will go away, then it means that it was demonic ghost.
2 - it will stay, then it means that that ghost is sent from God, then you should as "what do you want?"

So, you should try! Or just ask God.
Couse we cant say anything, cause we are just peoples and we dont know anything :)

God bless :)

#2 isn't always safe...I would tell the "ghost" in the name of Jesus Christ to reveal itself for what it truly is and I'd be very persistent about it. Because if it's a demon, it'll keep the game going for as long as it possibly can. Just like Satan, it will try to deceive. More often than not, if a "ghost" comes around, it's a demon.

But other than that you're right

I kind of disagree here. What appear as "Ghost" can also be servants of God John 4:1. But you are right, it is important to test visioned spirits.
(2) Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: (3) And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist

HI DERE lol but ive experienced alot of things like this, all i have to say is, as long as u know u have power in God, dont fear them, and do not befreind them, that means no contact,.. no more waving or anything like that,.. that enboldens them, to begin botherin things and or people,.. "(such as your dog) k? other than that if you ever feel threatened tell em to get out in the name of jesus, but no family memeber of the past is here, so dont even talk to them, our family memebers that have passed are still resting waiting on God to come back if you have any questions ask away, im spiritually gifted

your angels however wont show up as shadow people,.. they dont want that kind of impression left on them, lol they will show up as orbs or bright outlines of a figure,.

Not everything in the world is supported through a Bible verse. Find support for nuclear physics in the Bible...

I'm just saying it's a possibility. God sent His son in human form to save our souls... I think He could send ghosts if He wanted to...

I think what Jimmy was getting at, is that there are bible versus that disagree with you. I personally happen to agree with you, but there is scripture to the contrary.

Do you really know what the spirits exactly is?Not all the spirits are really demons.
What if the person that just died did some really terrible things in their lifetime, and they just know that God is going to send them to Hell forever. How likely are they to want to see God? Not very! So they move away from the Light. Or maybe they don't know what that Light is, so they are naturally afraid of it. This is common for Athiests, because they expect their consciousness to just "blink out" when they die. When that doesn't happen, they can become confused and may not realize that they can move on. Sometimes, if a person dies in a very sudden, unexpected way, they might have no idea that they are "dead." They find themselves standing at the scene of the accident, wondering what happened.
Sometimes people do realize they have died, but they don't want to move into the Light right away, because they want to be assured that their loved ones will be okay without them. They may stay around for a few days, even attending their own funeral, and try to comfort their family. This happens a lot more than you might think! However, these types of spirits often move on shortly afterwards, and do not become ghosts.

One can contact the dead (bad idea), but they do not roam the earth:

Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, (Hebrews 9:27)

Yes, we are fully confident, and we would rather be away from these earthly bodies, for then we will be at home with the Lord. (2 Corinthians 5:8)

Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD, and because of these detestable practices the LORD your God will drive out those nations before you. You must be blameless before the LORD your God.(Deuteronomy 18:10-13)
