Ok, I have this issue where I really hate when people ask me to pray for a group. I never know what to say and it gets really awkward and I make it as short as possible. But alone with God, I'm so vulnerable and open and honest and I can really feel myself talking to God. But in group prayer, I can't be so personal and I really can't talk to Him in front of people. So is that bad? Like what should I do?

Ive never been a big fan of leading group prayers either. It's not a good or bad thing, some things just aren't for everyone.

I am a fan of large group prayer, I am a fan of small group prayer, I am a fan of praying alone.....I'm just a fan of prayer.

People have their own way of connecting with God, and you need to find a way that is best for you. I would just say though, if you are praying in a group, don't focus too much on the group, it is still all about God.
