For a while now, i've been thinking, What happened to CC?!. Has the focus been lost?.. CC was supposed to be a site that will help me..
Now i'm not saying CC is bad, i'm just saying most of the members of CC (which are supposed to be christians) have lost their focus of being here. Many people join CC because they need help but it leave disappointed because the people on CC are carried away. The threads are no longer there to help people or to ask for help, people now put up threads because they are less busy, they just want to show off their biblical skills or they want to bring up irrelevant arguments!. The love of Christ that is supposed to be shared is missing!
I spoke to a brother a while ago and he was welcoming everybody that came into the longue room, when i asked him why, He said that when he joined CC, nobody ever gave him such a reception and that is the reason he left CC for a while!. You enter into a room in CC and you feel so unwanted!, It makes you wonder *Where exactly is Christ's love*. CC members are too carried away!
They are too busy with unnecessary arguments, showing off, or whatever it is!. People no longer get the help they seek again, what they get is people who are trying to prove to everybody that they are correct and know the bible more. Meanwhile, they fail to edify the people who need edification.

These might be the thoughts of some silly teenager, and it might not make any sense to anybody. But our irrelevant arguments and show offs are leading us *NOWHERE*

God Bless! :)

The internet will never be a replacement for real life.

Just sayin.

I totally sympathize with you here, but can you really be disappointed with a website for failing to meet your spiritual desires?

Now, I get the point that Christians should act like Christians no matter where they are or who they are talking to, but not everyone turns to the internet for spiritual help. Some people come here specifically to argue, debate or study. They have every right to be here just as you do. But I would worry about anyone who turns to the internet EXCLUSIVELY either for spiritual help or discussion.

Additionally, if you think people should be more welcoming to newcomers, make that your personal mission. Be the change.

I try to greet as many people as I can in the chat rooms, sometimes to the point that I probably annoy other people. :) I do think it's helpful that Robo has set it up so that we are signaled when a new chatter enters the room. I would like to see ALL of us try to make it a more loving, edifying site for believers and those who are seeking. I think this was the founders' intent, but they can only do so much. Kinda like pastors...it takes the entire body of Christ to make this thing work. :)

And I do agree that some folks seem more concerned with impressing others with what they think they know than with doing their part to encourage and share their faith with others. Something to PRAY about. ;)

*waves HI to TheSon* God bless you, brother. Please let us know if there's anything you'd like to talk about or have us pray with you about.

Far left liberalism has begun to create a rift between Christians and has crossed the interpretation line to what is called a ''Personalized Jesus'' because people focus 100% on the fact that God loves us therefore in effect anything goes (for the most part/issues that affect them.) Because of these differing views arguments, and off-topic debates frequently erupt, and people forget the initial purpose of the thread.

I sincerely hope that was not a Rip jaydawg.
