Hello again, brothers and sisters. So, I was chatting with my ma the other day, and she said that Heaven is a crowded place where everything is noisy, bright and joyous, and where all people do ALL DAY is praise God. Now, I feel kind of awful saying this, but church is really boring to me, and, the way Heaven is described, dying would mean... church FOREVER.

I mean, God is the best guy I know, and he is well deserving of all the praise he gets, and that's not why Heaven sounds so horrible to me. For one, I hate crowds, which Heaven supposedly has a lot of. Two, praising God FOREVER sounds like it'd get boring pretty fast. And three, since I'd be stuck in the middle of a giant crowd singing praises FOREVER, I'd lose all sense of who I am, and how I differ in my relationship with God from anyone else there. It just sounds so horrible to me!

At this point, Heaven essentially sounds like... just a less miserable alternative to Hell. I mean, it sounds like just another, more decadent way to while away an afterlife. Lame. Would anyone like to explain to me why I'm wrong? Because I have a feeling that I am, or at least that I've recieved a false image of PERFECTION.
No one knows what Heaven is really like. Make sure you don't like darkness more than light because the darkness can get really dark really fast. It is that darkness trying to convince you that Heaven will not be fun for one reason only and that is to conquer you. Jesus Christ reigns and we are either children of God or children of the devil. My life might have been different if someone would have told me at your age that there are men here trying to enslave us and fallen angels trying to conquer us in order for us to share their fate.

Someone said even if he didnt have a mansion, just a small house or a hut! or he had the least assignment in heaven, that is far far better than the alternative.
Sometimes i should like to thank those who Like, just as Levi does personlly, but cannot always. thanks anyway, after so long.

Heaven is a wonderful place filled with Glory and Grace. David in psalms asks that he might dwell in Gods courts and gaze upon His beauty!

Ask the Lord to show you will never be board again. Jesus says to pray that it would be heaven on earth, unless you have been shown what it is in heaven you will not know how to do that

The passage posted earlier what eye has not seen nor ear heard is truly the gift we receive as we behold the beauty of God.

im sorry but im gonna be strong with you your ignorance lack of reverence for God is kinda scary
you must be some really bored christian thats ok you can change but to say God is boring so is his heaven is really a reflection of your poor habits as a christian. they say that men and women of God pray adn read the word alot .

YOU sincerly need to ask God to help you love him renew your mind because youve got some funky thoughts And most importantly the scripture about Jesus reveals himself to those he chooses to reveal himself to will give some indication about how you get excited about heaven its ok to have questions doubts but dont camp there repent and move on flip the question around how can God reveal himself tome his heaven for me to get the revealation of who God really is and how exciting heaven is.

My opinon is that you have no had a personal supernatural encounter with God yet.
I suggest you pray and fast because its not a bad place at all.
when you have a true love of the man that died for you , the least you can do is praise him church is like 2 hours lol.
I used to be bored of church when I was a teen too lol...but hey as I got older and left my worldly friends and things that were keeping me from fully being with God then it started getting interesting. because I was having supernatural encounters with God. it was the same "boring service" lol..but it wasn't boring anymore. God removed the worldy veil the devil had over my eyes.
The devils doors are always open. his roads are the FUN roads.
the Lords road is narrow. not easy and fun all the time
but its worth it.
please read the bible in revelation and Ezekiel and tell me if youd rather be in heaven or hell. if youd rather be in heaven or left behind in the rapture...lol il choose heaven over those anyday, ill praise Jesus for eternity rather then burn forever lol.

Wow that's wonderful anointed1234 I can relate to you similar story when the fire of God and he puts his hand on your life you realize God is everything please pray for me anointed, 1234 my story to you is very similar would love to chat with you time I really want to love God true ll y again please pray I'm so weak and it's scaring me welcome to pm me. BTW I'm not back sliden but dangerously weak in the faith. It's humility that I've learnt it's not about all the visions or encounter a with God because if we worship other than God and don't walk in holiness which makes it easy to love God loving God and maintaining a very close walk with the Lord is very difficult without walking in holiness if the enemy doesn't shut one down with a very close walk with the Lord he will later I'm asking the Holy Spirit teach me holiness. What's the point of having great revelation if one don't repent and land up in hell? Learn from my story I fell from a great height and it's very painful and really I know God has told me I'm saved and what I'll do in heaven but I'm dangerously. That's why I'm warning and really stressing to you please ask the Holy Spirit to help you walk in holiness holiness makes it easy to walk in God. Your walk with God sounds great but please hear me it's very serious responsibility when your a man or woman of God. Only by the grace of God do I stand. Amen

pwrnJC, I definitely see where you and willie-t are coming from. The good feeling from within is great, but I feel that it is far from the heavenly bliss we will experience after the resurrection. Going by Paul's epistle to the Corinthians in 2 Corin. 5 1-5 ( For we know that if the tent that is our earthly home is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2 For in this tent we groan, longing to put on our heavenly dwelling, 3 if indeed by putting it on[a] we may not be found naked. 4 For while we are still in this tent, we groan, being burdened—not that we would be unclothed, but that we would be further clothed, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. 5 He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.) I conclude that the Kingdom within us now is not necessarily Heavenly, but a feeling of joy, restricted by the groaning of being here.
The same chapter verses 16-21 tells us that we are new creations (
16 From now on, therefore, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we once regarded Christ according to the flesh, we regard him thus no longer. 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.[b] The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. 18 All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 that is, in Christ God was reconciling[c] the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. 21 For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.) We have new spirits, but Heaven is not necessarily in us. God's Kingdom is not just property, but his people as well. Thereby we are a part of his Kingdom, but we are not Heaven and I don't think it is intended to be interpreted as having Heaven within us. We feel a lot better as new creatures in Christ, than we could feel in this world without Him, but I am certain it is not the best of Heavenly feelings.

My sibling said the same thing until.... I reminded her how we're going to eat at the banquet table....man all out buffet brother! All that praising may make one famished I guess? We won't need food in Heaven due to glorified bodies but dang think about eating all you want with the most tastiest dishes no cholesterol, no weight gain, no heartburn, the best wine. It's going to be awesome....I think there's more to Heaven than just worshipping God. After all He has innumerable angels to do that, plus it said the streets are paved with gold....cities have streets, and cities are busy....there will be other things such as telling personal testimonies maybe even instant replay of God's hand in our lives that we didn't see here on Earth. All I know is I believe it's going to be awesome!

Her response: speechless (it was priceless haha)

Put it this way. God made earth. Is earth boring? Is all this creation boring to you? Is the sky boring? Stars? There are other ways to worship and glorify God besides just the concert where we sing to Him in thankfulness. Besides just the music. How so? A godly marriage glorifies the Lord. When we obey God, we glorify Him. When we love, we glorify Him.

God said that what is here on this earth does not even compare to what He has for us!
1 Corinthians 2:9 But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”—

There will be no more death!
Revelation 21:4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”

There are creatures in heaven that are not on earth.
Isaiah 6:2 Above him stood the seraphim. Each had six wings: with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew.

The way God has gone about saving us, is it a boring story? It is the ultimate fight between good and evil. It is ultimate Love. God is not boring LOL Have you read Revelation? Do you know what He's done? Do you know the plan? To obey Him on earth is to live an adventure. The world says, "Be rich!", but God says,"“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. - Matthew 6:19-21"
