Hi "JJ" - At risk of over-simplifying things, just believe - Everything else comes naturally!

i have had the same kind of situation. i think the best thing to do is surround yourself with other believers or at least have a person of the faith to talk to about your situation. that constant feeling of being under attack is easier to take with a brother or sister by your side.

Hi Jennie
I hate to say it, but you just have to get used to it. We live in a world with all kinds of different beliefs. Many times athiests like to make it a point to come against religions, Christianity in particular. The bible says we can expected to face this kind of treatment. Just keep reading your bible, keep praying, and try to spend some time around other Christians if possible.
Remember, you can't 'make' other people see, or understand as you do. You may know God is real, and you may be sincere, but that doesn't mean someone is just going to believe you because you say it. Also, don't feel an obligation to argue, debate, or prove anything to them. They know you're a Christian, now just live it out in front of them. Don't worry about 'proving' anything to them, or even feel you have to sit and listen to them.

KEEP going. they'll doubt you FOREVER but eventually they'll see how serious this really is. that God really is there to save them from their sinful life and welcome them into his arms. it'll take a while but they'll come around.

ALL through high school my youth leader was made fun of and people would seriously attack her for being such a hard core christian. but now as juniors in college all those people that made fun of her and laughed at her are coming to the church asking questions and trying to find God. its SOOO rewarding to know that God got to use you and that your hard work wasn't for not. Just keep going

and being around other Christians is a GOOD idea. if you're hanging out with a bunch of people who don't believe in God then your spiritual life is going to dwindle away to nothing.

You did the best thing you have done. You sewed the seed. You shared with them the love of the Lord and now it's up to them to do what they will with that. Pray for them and believe it will come to pass. God will bless you for the good word you spoke into their loves.

The Best way to preach the Gospel is to live it .

If you will, You can take a notebook and write down all their names and keep praying for them each day and the Lord will bring them from darkness into The

Light of His Salvation.

Hey, im not a christian, but that doesnt mean i cant say something here...just wanna say that im srry the ppl in ur life r giving u such a hard time about ur beliefs...i hope they realize (as i have) that just because someone believes different is no reason to put their beliefs down...i admit, i used to verbally attack christians, but now, i try to deal with them in a more constructive manner, hopefully the ppl in ur life will do the same...but try to find another christian in ur life to talk to and in the meantime there r plenty on here xD

Peace Out pplz :D

I've found that the best way to silence the "critics" is with 3 things.
1. Examine the scientific arguement. Many atheists don't actually know that christians have a compelling arguement.
2. Keep in the Word. Don't ever let anyone tell you this isn't evidence. The bible IS historically accurate. Feel free to examine the proof behind that too.
3. Love them! This is probably the most important one. Show them God's unconditional love through you.
Hope this helped. God Bless!

sounds like you need a new set of friends and companions.

Psalm 1

1 Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers,
2 but whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night.
3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers.

Hello Jennie, I know what you mean. I work out of state so I'm gone a lot. Staying in a motel, working 12 hours a day most times. 99 percent of the people I'm around are not saved. It's a blessing to witnes to others even though most of them don't want to hear it. Most will find fault with what you're telling them but that's just covering up for there own sins. Then you have christian chat. I find it a fellowship in it's own. A christian needs to have fellowship with another christian. Without it satan will win
