Anyone can say they are Christian... I know some pretty wicked people who claim that title. So; Yes, you can say you are Christian and 'confirm' your 'faith'. However what you are doing is saying you know better then God. Saying I should not have to wait till marriage. Kind of like a little child who wants a cookie before dinner... The parents of that child know what is best for him just like God knows whats best for you. Even though we might think otherwise.

Remember that Christianity isn't just a religion, but rather it's about you and your relationship with God. No, not like going out to get pizza with him. He's always gonna be there for you. Someone you can pray to, someone who will always be listening. Someone who will help you, even in your darkest times.
If you want to accept Jesus into your life, just pray something along these lines...
"Dear Lord, I know that I've probably hurt people a lot in the past and that I've done some bad stuff before in my life, and I need you to just take the guilt off my shoulders. I want to start trusting you as my Lord and Savior, to start having faith in you, to make you my God. In Your name I pray, Amen."
As you grow stronger in Christ, your life begins to become fruitful with the fruits of the Holy Spirit. This means that you won't want to sin as much. Faith alone produces works.
Some ways to strengthen yourself and grow are reading the Bible, praying to God, and finding a local Bible-believing church.
