What is giving? How are we to be good stewards of the Lord?
I believe that tithing is an attitude, being a good steward of the Lord is having the mindset to do so. It's simple to just shrug it off and ignore it. You can have all the money in the world and never want to give any up, it's the selfless act of giving that God wants to see. As His Son did for us, we should do for each other.
That being said, if its been a while since you connected with god or extended a hand i encourage you to visit ibcts.org. A seminary devoted to training and sending out new missionaries and evangelists to foreign countries to start there very own congregations!
Over 600 have been founded in Mexico, and there was one just built in CUBA.
Normally Communists are Atheist but this shows a shift in the populations beliefs!!
Remember: IBCTS
There you will find the video, a donations page, an application page, and on the bottom links to Twitter, FaceBook, and their Blog.
I would say that this seminary is one of the more proactive and on-the-ball that i've come across, they want to make a difference but need our help!!
