Yea friend there is a part of you that will always fail others...a part of you that loves yourself more than others...But there is One that showed us what love really is...and the Holy Spirit will bring that knowledge to those who believe and call upon Him.

Well I cant speak for everyone else...but I very much do love...don't mean I always agree. And its Christ that you need to understand that loves and the Holy Spirit that will show you that love He has....

So are you saying that without the holy spirit people can't love anyone?

No ...there is natural love. But the love that the Holy Spirit gives is not from man but from God...its different.

Well Im not looking at people...Im looking at Christ....and His love is completely without selfishness... Natural love always has a selfishness to it.... We in effect love others based on our personal desires and limits. And as I said, you cannot know this love until you receive the Holy Spirit.

In fact when the New Testament was written this word agape (love) was first used....

The thread was dead..and this guy has been reaching out to folks for days now.... He probably just saw the title like I did?

Besides that their is no age limit to a thread?

No wonder he doubts that Christians really love anyone?
