I was once told that love is a verb and a movement.

Love is an action?

So if love is a verb what does that look like?

How do we show love?

Or should I say how do we act out love?

Is it through gifts, a hug, a kiss, a conversation, or something else entirely?

Is that even love or just kindness, thoughtfulness?

What does love even mean?

We say it so much but do we even know what it means?

I love to sing.

I love chocolate.

I love to sleep.

Love is powerful and yet, here I am saying it as freely as I do every other word. So now it's a word, an expression?

I love getting socks for christmas.

Wait a second, that's a lie I hate getting socks for christmas.

Yet I just used that word to make someone feel better, for getting me something I really didn't want.

So now love is a cover up. A lie to tell others.

That's strange.

I think we've lost the true meaning of love.

And in the process forgotten how to truly love to it's every extent.

Whatever that is.

Now here's what I think love is.

Love is of the heart.

Pure, unadulterated, love that comes from the very core of our being.

And is in essence us.

We are love given form.

That's what love is to me.

Not a word, an action, an expression, a cover up, a lie.

It's something so much bigger, so much more powerful and so much more beautiful.

So let US act out OUR love, and express OUR love.

And not be a cover up or a lie.

Let's be the love that is undefinable, let's be us.

We are love given form.

We are powerful.

We are beautiful.

We are God's children.

AWWWWWWWWWWE DAT WAS AWESOME!!!!!
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (New International Version)

4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

;)

AND CHOCOLATE IS THE BOMB! TOO LOL

Wow... I never really thought of it that way but I guess it is true... Alot of guys I know (not saying all guys are like this) say they love me just to get what they want later in the long run, the word love is not used how it should be and alot of people do take granted of that word, and after a while other people forget the meaning of it too, and I myself dont even know when to believe it when others say it, I mean if people have said it so many times in an untruthful way before, how do you know if they are using it in the right way this time? I just dont think much people really understand the true meaning of that word. and just like any other word if you dont know the meaning why say it?
