He's not a believer, but is he a decent person? ie not doing wrong things in your house? That could be a point to make with him should the subject of right and wrong come up. Though God is the one that initiates a person's understanding of their need for a Savior, you can lead by example. Make the difference obvious, and when the subject of standards comes up he will either listen to your personally expressed point of view or he will leave with a retained recognition that God must be the one in control.

If you've told him, then you've planted the seed. Leave it to God to germinate the plant, don't push the issue with your friend :)

In the mean time, just live your life as you normally do, giving glory to God. Seeing someone he knows lead a Christian life will leave a good impression about the faith.

I've had this problem before. I think you just need to remember that this isn't an overnight thing and that if he doesn't listen to you when you talk about God it isn't your fault. Be patient and calm. Don't pester him but don't give up.

Bear in mind, we all have different roles in peoples lives. We all Want to be the one called to actually lead someone to Christ, be the one to pray with them, etc.. But that is not always what God has for us. Sometimes we are the ones to plant the seed, sometimes we are the ones to water a seed someone else planted, and sometimes we are the ones to get to see the end product. As is common, with friends and family, we want to be the one that leads them to God. Don't put that expectation on yourself. Just do your best to be a witness and pray that God will continue to work on His heart.
Also remember, not everyone shows the effects you have on them. Some people deny God and 'refuse' to hear anything about Him right up until the time they choose to follow God. Its hard to know where peoples hearts are really at.

The Bible is a sword, and we must be careful how we swing it. If people don't want us to be their doctors, scalpel in hand, then we must step back. We're not to push it on unwilling people, but instead, live it ourselves and then they will see the light in us ♥

Matthew 5:14 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

There are many ways to bring him close to God. HIS glory and deeds are numerous. There is nothing wrong if your guy doesn't believe in them...
There are several programs and internships that you can suggest him to join and you could join too which are active for helping people and serve the humanity for years. There are assemblies and ministries who preach Christianity and spread the word of God and arrange field trips and mission activities that bring people together and help them build relationships.
I guess this will also bring you both more closer...
I hope the suggestion helps.
Take care
May God bless you both

I also had this problem with a guy in my class. When they don't want to hear about our Lord, then the next best thing is to show them the love of Christ and live it out every day and in every way!! When you live your life the way God would have you live it, it starts to show and the same people that don't want hear about God will start asking question!!
