If my posting the truth of scripture causes feelings of rebellion in you, that must be expressed in this manner, I must say, I thank you for the compliiment. When people get angry at the message, they seem to shoot the messenger quite often. The truth is, people have been angry with the truth of God for almost 2000 years. I'd rather you be mad at the truth, than happy with a lie.

It's great and all he believes whatever he believes, but he's living a lie. And religious or not, it's sad to feel shame enough to have to change who you are b/c ignorant people hate you. Believe me, I know how that is. I used to live in a predominantly Hispanic neighborhood and i didn't speak Spanish and I'm a Southern white boy. I got picked on for being the "gringo" in the class, everyone always said "you live in Miami, you should learn Spanish, stop being so white, blah blah blah." And i tried to act "more Hispanic" until I realized I'm perfect the way I am and you can't change something you're born into (race, sexuality, skin color, ethnicity.) I just feel bad that young people feel like they HAVE to change b/c some crazy preacher once decided that gay people can change.

With any amount of therapy, it is just pushing those feelings to the back of your mind and making you seek a heterosexual lifestyle, even though you will never be "turned on" by the opposite sex and have flashbacks to whatever you did to make you "straight" when you see a member of the same sex you find attractive. See King Truth... Even if homosexuality was evil, it's the ACT, not the fact that you're gay. You scientifically proven CANNOT change your sexual orientation. If you believe gay sex is evil, don't have gay sex... It doesn't make you straight, it just means your celibate. The Catholic church allows gay priests, knowing that they aren't "straight" b/c priests aren't allowed to have sex anyway. There's no such thing as being "delivered" out of homosexuality, just either NOT having sex or just being really delusional.

The sin of homosexuality starts with a man lusting after another man, and leads to a man laying with another man as he would a woman, or having sex with another man. What makes a person a homosexual is lusting after the same sex and acting out on those feelings of lust.
Once a person is delivered from the thoughts and feelings of lust for the same sex and no longer acts on those feelings...that person has been delivered from homosexuality.
Therefore, that person is no longer a homosexual and has now become a heterosexual by the power of Christ.
