This may be a case of something evolving within a culture to be slightly different than how it began, I do think we should all fair to Sweetheart728, she is a christian and no chritian or decent person would use a picture of themselves making an offensive gesture for their avatar, if it were something offensve it probably would have been dealt with by the website authority long before now.

What is the point in leading christians into 'Christianity' if it is not 'True Chrisitanity' u cant blame be for lots of people leaving the churches.

It dosent matter if she is a Christian. I asked/confronted her about her avatar being the fingers. She didnt deni that it was the V sign. If it wasnt she would sure be on my tail quick, belive me.
Upon her reply was - my avatar is fly and shows i have personality
It is an offensive Gesture and she obviously has.

If it was offensive the moderators on this site LONG AGO would have dealt with it. Leave it alone unless you are a moderator as you are continuing to come off more and more judgmental and unloving the more you push this.

its is a debate, one side heres the oppisitions side, then the next person takes a go. Contradiction or agrreeing when ever they feel neccesery.

You can show emotion and keep a hold on it, this you didn't do.

I am not upset about the debate, I wouldn't mind it if it was with someone who didn't act so impolite and rude to everyone. Well the thread is about piercings, if you don't have them, how can you feel judged? that's the whole point. This is what I mean, you might read over my post but you apparently don't take it in and try to understand it. Obviously you don't care how you treat people, or you wouldn't have sad half the things you did. I have never asked you to say how my day was. I have simply asked you to be a loving christian. You are attacking anyone who is in opposition to you, no one wants to debate with someone like this because they don't listen to your side.
Now about my pm, look, a pen. take a pen for example. does it honour God? I don't really think so, it might be used to honour God. Now is it for the devil? not that I can see. How is a piercing not the same thing. They are both inanament objects.

u can judge me as being judgemental and loving, but i had no intention on that. It is not my fault u cant see the diffrence in total passion and inpolitness. If u would, please show me some quotes where i have been so judgemental and rude.

Yes. Too many people on here like to insist that if something is not directly prescribed according to their interpretation of the Bible then it is automatically UNBIBLICAL and SATANIC. I never understood that train of thought.

Look I find it completely pointless to keep pointing stuff out to you, you simply deny it. It is honestly impossible, you are so set on being "Right". You are not acting loving at all! I am not the only person to have pointed this out. You seem extrodinarly pridefull. It is not irrelevant to the topic. both are inanement objects. yup one is in my skin, but when I pull it out, would you look at that the hole seals over and you don't even know I had it. Trust me I already made that mistake twice.

I showed you a whole post that the recipient felt was degrading, judgmental, and condescending. Did you already forget that? I did not say you were judging others or unloving in your intent, but the way you are expressing yourself is showing both of those things in spades. Perhaps you need to review how you word your posts and rather than post from a point of passion, take a step back and post from a point of intelligently thought-through and fully considered reasoning. If I post when I'm at my most passionate, I'd have been booted off of this site already. It's part of maturity.

WOW!!! this was crazy to read! i dont think its right that you guys would get so fired up over this... grow up guys! however, i dont think its a sin, i have 1 tatto and 1 piecing.... my tatt is a cross with floral patterne around it, not a demon or somehting wicked like that... i dont find that its a sin on my behalf at all. in fact i have long dark hair that i die too but thats because its my style, and because of that ive been able to reach out to kids that see christians as uptite losers (with isnt supposed to be true!) and have things to relate to them.... some choose to cover them sleves in table cloth fabric coats, but im different and last time i checked god made us all differnt.

I don't think many people are fired up over this actually to be honest. The only reason I am upset in any way is because, of other reasons that I have already expressed in here, not because of peoples piercings.

It is not part of maturity -thats a stupid thing to say. You should post when u r at ur most passionate, if not what u r really thinking, what u want to say and how u want to say it.

Okay I will refrain from what I "wanted" to say, as that would not be christian like, proves that every day is a strugle. First off, I think an interesting statement should be made. I once heard a pastor talking and he said that you cannot act older than your age, simply for the fact that you have not experianced that age. So for me, I can't act older than 15, because I haven't experianced being older. I feel that you are trying to act older than you are, well don't! it isn't working, you are coming off very imature. You are saying that you are being loving by trying to help them, well you deffinatly aren't being loving about how you are poising your thoughts. Being passionate about what you post is good, yes. But, you still need to refrain from rudeness and pride. Even if it is how you feel, yo need to express it in a different way. Big Ben is just saying read over your posts and remove anything that will hurt others (which has been pretty much every post in this thread).

As for your last statement, I find that ridiculous. I have provided my thoughts on the matter, you have provided biblical verses that don't exactly fit into it. I believe I have plenty of good points for it, you are just so set on being "right" (like I have already told you MULTIPLE times now) that you can't even see the other side. you are just stuck in your little bubble of "being right" I have even provided real life examples, that you just said were irelevant when they were quite relevant.
