God isn't a genie for you to give your wishes too. You can't pray and expect something to happen. You have to put in the work as well. If you pray for cash then you have to actually work and put in the effort. God will not make money just appear. That's not to say that God won't work miracles but that isn't always the case. A lot of the time in my own personal life I see people pray and ask for prayer but don't actually put in there part of the work. Especially as teens, I know we hate doing work and working hard, but you can't afford to be lazy. If you want God to bless you with a job then you need to actively seek one and be in prayer over it so that God will give you favor. If you want Good grades, you have to study, and God will give you recollection to do well and pass. It applies to everything really. Daniel excelled at everything because he not only was praying and fasting but actually working. Sometimes you feel like God may be ignoring you or he hasn't answered your prayer but often times it's because you need to actually do something. If you want a better relationship with Christ you have to actually pursue it...read your bible more, pray more, and fast more. Work is required.

There is a time for prayer and patience because sometimes the situation is out of our hands and we truly do need a miracle from God but there is a time for prayer and action. Don't be so afraid to move that you are stuck and stagnant. Don't let fear hinder you. God is with you. I just thought I'd give a little encouragement on a Monday. :)

Thank you for that. :)

I think this is something I struggle with. I think that a lot of people just pray not really paying attention to what they're saying, just going through the motions. And many times its easy to get into the habbit of just of treating God as our genie and just making requests. I love the prayers that are like actual conversations and you finish them feeling closer to God.
