Hey guys! I have a prayer request for one of my friends (I'm keeping her anonymous, but names don't really matter right now).
She is a fairly new Christian, been saved about 8 months. She has an undeniably strong passion for the lord, but what is tough is that her entire family is basically unsaved/lost. She is a Freshman in high school, and she has to depend on her parents to take care of her, and she feels terrible a lot because, no matter what she tries to say, her parents won't listen to her. They've even gone as far as to limit her church going and keeping her away from her best friend, because her grandmother says that her friend is a "bad influence" (her best friend is a VERY strong Christian and is one of my friend's main pillars for support).
I try to give her a lot of advice to help her cope with the issues, but I can obviously tell that it is eating away at her. She gets hit hard with sin because of her family's lifestyle, and she also struggles with doubt quite a bit. It's tough for her to see the big picture in God's plan for her, but I am trying my hardest to help her see it.
Here is basically what can benefit from prayer:
Her growing in the faith, and becoming a more confident follower of Christ
Her family, for them to see the light, and to repent.
Please pray for me as well, so God can put the words in me to help her with her struggles in life.
