You've heard of saving sex for marriage but there are Christians out there who have also saved their first kiss for marriage.

I know a guy who's doing this as a defense for against lust and getting out of control. And to do something nice for his wife.

I think it's awesome and if you look up on youtube, there are people who posted their wedding day, first kiss hahaha

:)

So I'm just posting this to let you younger people know about it. I imagine theres people here who still haven't kissed someone yet.

I'd say... go for it if you can. It'll protect you from lust (keep u pure) because a kiss can get lustful l and it'll make a nice special gift for your wedding day. :)

So what do you young guys and gals think of it? :)
I'm sort of a younger person (21, heh). I probably echo what others have said here. Whether or not you wait until marriage to kiss is something of a personal preference. The Bible talks about things like "holy kisses," but those aren't romantic kisses. If kissing would cause you to lust, then you should probably not kiss before marriage. Personally, I can kiss and not lust. It depends on what kind of kissing is going on. A simple peck on the cheek or lips? Nothing harmful there. A more amorous, prolonged smooch pushes it but I can pull it off harmlessly. Anything past that, though, is bad ground, thus I abstain from it.

Yes you are right. You should save your first kiss for marriage. This is my opinion. I thought about it, and a kiss could lead further. I give credit to the Duggers, for they are a a wonderful family, and truly blessed. They are also good role models.

THANKFULL THAT THE CONVICTION SHINED ON THIS. I AM SINGLE WITH 2 GROWN DAUGHTERS, 1 MARRIED, AND I AS A MOM, WOULD NOT PUT MY LIPS TOGETHER WITH ANOTHER BEING SINGLE. AS ADULTS, WE TEND TO FEEL WE CAN MAKE OUR OWN DESICIONS AND WHY LISTEN TO MOMMY & DADDY WHEN WE ARE OF THE AGE OF RESPONSIBLITY. I THINK A KISS ON THE CHEEK, MIGHT BE APPROPRIATE, BUT AGAIN, IF THERE ARE STDS, IN ONES MOUTH, ONE CAN CONTRACT THIS FROM A KISS, FROM SALIVIA. THERE IS NO CURE FOR A STRAIN OF GONORREHIA NOW, IT IS RESISTING THE ANTIBIOTICS, SO ONE WILL LIVE WITH THIS FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES, OR AIDES. THE WORD OF GOD, IS THE BEST ADVICE, GLAD YOU SAW THE LIGHT.
