You can surely be forgiven. I think the problem sounds more like it's a problem with forgiving yourself. Have you talked about what you did with anyone? Sometimes if we talk to God about how bad we feel and how much we want to beat ourselves up, it can relieve us of some of that stress and guilt. It can be hard to forgive yourself, but we will always feel doomed if we don't. This doesn't meant that we should rush ourselves into getting over things; these things take time. You will overcome this and you will not feel weighed down by it as much. I've been through the same thing and it felt like God was nowhere to be found, but once I found people who supported me and accepted me, it became easier to accept myself. You are much bigger than this problem; God is on your side. Prayers are being sent your way!
