Hey brother. I just want to say i was suicidal as well when i had really bad anxiety. It made me think of thoughts that were really bad. The lord helped me to get out of that situation though. Brother, the lord is bigger than suicide and he is always there for you. I'm sorry that you lost your dad, but your heavenly father is always there for you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. You can ask the lord anything and he will help you. Ask the lord to help you overcome these storms that you are going through and NEVER give up. Keep on pushing and always know that there is hope in the lord. The lord has an amazing plan for your life and you are going to love it. If you have any questions you can message me. God Bless!

Isaiah 41:10
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall.
Psalm 55:22

You have kept count of my tossings;
put my tears in your bottle.
Are they not in your book?
. . . I must perform my vows to you, O God;
I will render thank offerings to you.
For you have delivered my soul from death,
yes, my feet from falling,
that I may walk before God
in the light of life.
(Psalm 56:8–13).

Answer me quickly, O LORD!
My spirit fails!
Hide not your face from me,
lest I be like those who go down to the pit.
Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love,
for in you I trust.
Make me know the way I should go,
for to you I lift up my soul. . .

For your name’s sake, O LORD, preserve my life!
In your righteousness bring my soul out of trouble!
(Psalm 143:3–11).

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

Hey, I don't mean to demean you.
You should seek counseling of some sort.
Personal counseling.

Everyone has their ups and downs. I counsel people everyday, but at times I have also sought counseling as well. Everyone needs a counselor and at your worst times like you're going through now... if you're motivated to get through it, seeking help from someone who talks to people with difficulties everyday can help you stand up and find your purpose.

Finding someone to help you is not displaying a lack of faith in God.
God is always watching, and He gives us avenues to search for help.
Take care.

Sam,

Im glad to hear that you are doing better. And I'm sorry to hear that you lost your dad four years ago... Even in this dark time of your life, remember that you have your Heavenly Father as well, who loves you deeply and gave his life for you. Even though you lost your dad, you have another who will always walk by your side. He will never leave or abandon you. Hope you continue to feel better. :)

Samcas, I was alot younger than you are right now, when I first tried (and failed cuz I chickened out, LOL) to commit suicide with a pair of my mother's sewing shears. I was maybe 11 or 12. Maybe even younger than that. My intent was to stab myself in the stomach with the shears. Because I WAS so young, and I'm also a wimp for pain, lol, I chickened out. I have had suicidal thoughts my entire life, and more than one suicide attempt.
We all lose people. I have lost friends and family to suicide. We need to trust in and rely on God to carry us through the most difficult times in our lives. Suicide is a sin. God specifically commanded, "thou shall not kill." We don't always know what our purpose on this miserable earth is, but that is why we are here: to discover that purpose. Your life is what you make of it.

If you want to wallow in grief and self-pity all your life, that is your decision. If you choose to learn a lesson from what happened, you can let it build you up and make you stronger. Suicide is not an answer. It is cowardly and its a PERMANENT solution to a TEMPORARY problem. My advice is to pray, turn this over to God and beg him to lift the clouds from your eyes so you can see the sunlight of God's love for you!! Good luck and God bless. :)
