teen study bibles

Are they any good?? been seeing them a lot lately.

I am personally against the very idea of "teen study bibles" Why does a teenager need a dummed down version of the Bible that explains every little thing no matter how obvious? I've had a few and the stupidity they assume teens is offensive. Kid study Bibles are ok because children do find things harder to understand. Paul never said "When I was a child I thought like a child, when I was a teenager I thought like a teenager, then I became a man and thought like a man" he said "When I was a child I thought like a child, then I was a man and thought like a man." Adulthood is not decided by age, but by the way one thinks or acts. So just get an adult study Bible.

Yes, but not every teenager may understand every little thing, no matter how obvious it is. I'm an adult and I read the bible but don't understand some things until someone explains it in simple words, then I'm like "duhh! I should've known that"! LOL.

I dont use a teen study bible, but I do read an extra boek from Lewis. Really nice tho
