Hi everyone,

Ok, so tonight, the weirdest and possibly most amazing thing happened to me. I'm still in shock, the Lord truly works in mysterious ways. I was going for a bible study tonight at my local Lutheran church. We walked inside, and there were a bunch of kids inside. I was confused and felt stupid. I was curious if I got the time wrong or something. Well, a lady went up to us that was standing besides the kids, and asked what we were looking for. My dad explained to her that we were here for the bible study. She said that the bible studies don't start til next week.

We were about to leave, until a girl walked up to me and recognized me. It was my friend Kendelle that I literally have not seen since my freshman year of highschool! I asked what she was doing here and she told me she was here for practice. The lady who was along with the kids then asked if I would like to learn color guard. I hesitated at first, but said sure. I had so much fun tonight and everyone on the team was so nice to me. After practice was over, the lady gave me some papers to fill out if I wanted to join the team. I really want to join, and my parents are encouraging me to actually do it.

I'm still shocked because I have been praying to God a lot to bless me with something that brings me to finding friends and doing something that I enjoy, and tonight my prayer was answered. I was expecting to go to a bible study, but the Lord led me there for a reason I think! The thing is though, as much fun as I had tonight, I'm still hesitating on actually joining. I have really bad stage fright and knowing that they have competition frightens me a bit. The competition season doesn't actually start until next year, but still.

What do you think I should do then guys? :)

wow.. what a very blessed testimony.. a round clap2 for the Lord and for you.. ^^ God is surely happy because you've seen the blessing through Him..

well, if i were you. i'd go for it.. God will always have a reason why He brought you there and take note.. He will do something good or even something amazing out of this and will you allow that plan to be left out anywhere hanging? im pretty sure you won't.. God's unseen plan will not be possible without you.. and as what you've said.. it's an answered prayer.. so why would you hesitate on joining? is there another reason that's keeps you from giving them your yes?

and by the ways that you've discovered it, that led you there and your purpose was to attend a bible study.. God sees your heart.. since the bible study will be on next week.. He gave you this "thing" becuase it's the best for you.. He will teach you bountiful lessons and right now, we can't predict but surely, they're all gifts of God you.. and gowith the flow.. enjoy it and trust everything to God.. don't lean on your own understanding (Prov. 3:5) another thing, your parents supports you, i wouldn't be a problem after all, you're blessed. :D praise God for that and God bless you always..

remember u can do all things through Christ that strengthens u, and greater is He that is u than he that in the world.
it reminded me when we had sport activity in my school i was put in a group to run a race. but i was not a good runner.the rest of the students asked me if i can run, i told them 'i can do all things through Christ that strengthens me" and to my greatest surprise i took first and my team won. that was shocking to me:D All glory be to God!:D

Hi everyone, thank you for the uplifting and positive messages, but I have bad news I'm afraid. I was so excited to do winterguard, but it ends up I can't do it because it interferes with my dad's work schedule. We only have one car at the moment and it's too far to walk up to the Lutheran church from where I live. I'm really bummed about it since I actually thought it would open up a lot of doors for myself. I'll continue to pray though that the Lord will lead me to an activity or sport that I truly enjoy and brings me new loyal friends. :)

I might be getting a part time job though. My family and I adopted a cat a few days ago. We have a cat already, but have decided to add one more to our family of pets. They handed me an application before I left if I wanted to work there since they're always looking for volunteers at the adoption center. I'm very interested so I hope I can actually do that since I'm looking into it a lot, and in the future, I would love to be a veterinarian assistant. It'd give me some experience working with animals!

Do u have some of the other girls' phone numbers or emails? Maybe one of them lives near you and you guys an carpool to the practices and stuff. I mean maybe ask your friend if she knows anyone who lives near you that might be able to give u rides to practice. It won't hurt to ask.

I'm friends with a girl who is on the team, but I don't have her number. I only am friends with her on Facebook yet she's barely on there. I don't know her address too. So, I can't really do anything at this time. The practices have already started too. Its okay though, I hope to find something soon that makes me happy such as the part time job I talked about that might in store for me.

I like your icon by the way lol.
