They left out the most important part of the gospel, namely, the gospel itself.
Repentance.
Mat 3:1 In those days came
John the Baptist,
preaching in the wilderness of Judaea,
saying,
Repent ye: (CHANGE and STOP THE SINNING!)
for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Mat 4:17 From that time
Jesus began to preach,
and to say,
Repent: (CHANGE and STOP THE SINNING!)
for the kingdom of heaven
is at hand.
Without repentance no sin is forgiven...
Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore,
and be converted (CHANGE YOUR LIFESTYLE),
that your sins may be blotted out,
when the times of refreshing
shall come from the presence of the Lord;
Jesus taught the real gospel a lot.

Luke 13:2 And Jesus answering said unto them, ... I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
Luke 13:4 Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them,
think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?
Luke 13:5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, (CHANGE and STOP THE SINNING!)
ye shall all likewise perish.
