They can be addictive, some people can play for just a short time. I didn't used to be one of those though, and haven't played for a long time............
Not every addiction is from satan. It's often used in a negative way, but addiction to God is great, not being able to stop thiking about Him, needed to spend time with Him etc. Being with Him in His presence is the pleasure, joy, satisfaction and so much more we're all seeking.
And some computer games are just a way for people to live out the normal Christian life. Like being in the Spirit, going in to His Kingdom, battling dark forces etc. We're joined in spirit with God, so can be with Him wherever He takes us. It's not been normal for me yet, but I'm praying God will help me out of my logical Greek way of thinking, to the experiential Hebraic mindset.
The devils counterfeited this, but trust God to guide you, He's more powerful to guide you than the enemy is to deceive, I can't remember who I heard saying that recently, but God bless em.
It's more exciting to spend time with God than on computer games or anything else. And if like me you haven't experienced the fulness of joy in His presence yet, it's on our side, rather than God's. To have our mind and soul renewed, that we can walk according to the Spirit Who controls our spirit.
This has gone on longer than I thought, I used to love final fantasy 7 by the way haha

I tried to play wow, but whenever I went to battlenet, it wouldn't let me log on company of Heros was an amazing game, it was a bit like empire earth, I tired S.T.A.L.K.E.R bu could never get my head into it :/ I'm am...not very fond of the Cod series anymore....to put it politely
