I think screamo music it's self can glorify God if the message of the song is aimed at revealing truth that our God has set before us. If the song is displaying emotions of pain, hurt, and suffering, the musician is simply using his talent to the best of his ability to explain to others the suffering he is going through. For a musician, expressing those feeling is very uplifting and even though others might not be uplifted I know some are very uplifted by it because everyone wants to know that there is someone else in the world who feels their pain and these songs can provide that connection between the musician's pain and the listener's pain. Also, shouldn't we glorify God in EVERYTHING we do? Regardless of the fact that the song may not be telling the greatness of God, it still can be glorifying him by sharing the feeling of pain we suffer for our lord. Timothy says "join with me in suffering for the gospel and for our Lord". This music can be very real to life when put in perspective with the trials we go through for our faith. Going through those trials can definatly cause the feelings that musicians convey in screamo

I know this isn't going to be popular but in no way shape or form does screamo please the Lord. I come out of 13 years of listening to garbage like this and I can't tell you the victory over sin that I have since I died and became a new creature six months ago.
Speaking to yourself in psalms, and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your hearts to the Lord. Scremo isn't melody it is dominated almost completely in rythem which pleases the flesh and most certainly does not please a Holy God. And how in the world are you supposed to send a message if you can bearly understand the words. I've seen some of these secular bands that had almost more of a message then these so-called Christian bands.

Hey you don't know that.. We all don't know for sure what pleases Him unless he says it in the Word. If a person can scream but can't sing.. buut they love the Lord and wanna continue in music for Him, then I see it's okay for them to do what they love to do, for the Lord! and if you haven't noticed.. All the Christian metal bands(who scream) they reach out to a lot of Christians who like that kind of music.. bringing His word into that kind of music reaches out to a lot of teens these days trust me.. besides have you ever seen a Christian scream-o band that hasn't prospered?

My point of view on prospering, is made from good things. The only one that is made all of good things is Jesus! Amen? Well yeah I agree just because something is going good, doesn't mean it is Him.. but all the people who have been singing and living for Christ (that I've seen) haven't really been back stabbed or yuh know.. like Lady Gaga or Lindsey Lohan! (no dis respect).. but yeah

I think it sounds very weird, personally. I have never really been a fan of the really loud, thrashy Christian rock bands; the likes of Tenth Avenue North and Sanctus Real are the loudest I'll go! ^_^
All the same though, I'll never go around trampling everyone who listens to the screamo-Christian groups, because they are still our brothers and sisters in God, and I reckon that if the stuff makes them happy then it's fine by me!
