PLEASE Pray for JesusMyOnly

Hey guys... I have an urgent prayer request.

I'm sure a lot of you have read my "Concerned for a Friend and the Church of Christ" thread that I posted. However, I feel the spiritual stakes have just been raised, and I'm now really freaking out.

The friend I was mentioning was JesusMyOnly. A few months ago, a user by the name of "ANW9" messaged her, offering to do bible studies with her. He is involved with a Church of Christ located in Tennessee, "Leiper's Fork Church of Christ". JesusMyOnly resisted the things she was teaching at first, but ANW9 was persistent. He showed her his church's articles that, to the unexpecting person, would seem to make sense. She started believing what they were telling her, and now she's caught up in it. (I have extensively spent the past month studying the teachings, and cross referencing scriptures, and just doing a lot of studying to help).

I've been doing Bible studies with her as well, and I could tell that she's facing an internal struggle. It reached a peak tonight, where she snapped and hung up on me. She then announced to me that she's running away from her home. I tried to stop her, but she logged out. I tried calling her, but her landline is disconnected.

I am really worried that she is under a major attack, and if she's running away, she could be in physical danger as well (It's 24 degrees where she is right now!!!).

PLEASE pray for her! Pray that she is protected, and that she will have her eyes opened to God!

Lord, be with JesusMyOnly right now. Lead her out of the darkness she is in, and if she's not where you want her, help her see your light and lead her back to you. Help her realize that she was deceived, and YOU are the only way..please bring her back home and let her contact Leadfoot so he/we know she's okay. In Jesus name, amen.

If a person doesn't click 'Log Out' and just closes the browser they will appear to be online for up to two hours.

I would like to give you an update on the situation now, because things have gotten worse.

She apparently decided against running away, said it was the result of her feeling in a dark place. She felt that she can't "grow in faith" in her house, where everyone, even her family, does not support what the Church of Christ is teaching. (Note that her mother is FORMER Church of Christ as well). So she felt she needed to run away, and find a Church of Christ to find shelter in or something.

She has gone ballistic that I posted this thread (out of worry for her). She said I betrayed her trust by doing this, and she cut me off entirely, deleting me.

Please pray for me, she is in a place of Spiritual darkness, and I could see her struggling. She's bought into a lie, and it's hurting her. Please... just pray.

I am not angry because Leadfoot here is so concerned about me and I guess he just wants what is best for me. I don't hate him that is for sure.


I'd like to address this part of the post:


JesusMyOnly resisted the things she was teaching at first, but ANW9 was persistent (Yes, thank God he was persistant and that the congregation he attends was patient with me and prayed but it was by my choice to hear them out I was never, ever forced to listen to them). He showed her his church's articles that, to the unexpecting person, would seem to make sense. She started believing what they were telling her, and now she's caught up in it. ( I did not just start believing what they were showing me 'just because' in fact ask him I was very stubborn and prideful and rejected what he was saying for some time. Its because he took hours, days upon days to show me why he believes what he believes. He never side stepped away from any question I had..and always makes sure if I understand something and of course I will never agree 100% with him about everything in the bible but when it comes to salvation I do).

It reached a peak tonight, where she snapped and hung up on me ( I was scared and frustrated I run when I get upset from everyone). She then announced to me that she's running away from her home ( I know..where I was going and its a safe place).


PLEASE pray for her! Pray that she is protected, and that she will have her eyes opened to God!


I guess I agree with that. I'm just really young, frustrated and doing baby Christian steps. But once I threw away my pride and accepted truth my life is now forever changed for the better. Thank you for caring so much I honestly love that people out there care for me, we just do not believe the same. I will continue to pray and study.

Don't throw away all of your pride. Believe it or not, you have a lot to be proud of.
