I believe God is the author of confusion, unfairness, the wrong in the world, and that he is the ultimate cause for some of the failures people are guilty of, and also for the destruction of lots of good things. Why do you ask, here is my spiel, God is sovereign and is in control of everything, and free will is an arbitrary concept that does not exist. Why do I affirm calvinism, because experience is supreme. If you believe in God you are foreordained to believe and you are predetermined to believe, depending on your theology and doctrine you will find complete assurance or you will always be left doubting yourself and whether you are truly saved or a true believer. I believe you can be a legitimate believer in God, and still you will suffer so much pain because he wants you to have. What if God willed people to do evil so he could ahve glory, what if he willed people to do evil because he wanted to show his power? Romans 9 makes this clear, that God can choose what he wants from the vessels. What if he says I can use your evil and make it work out for my ultimate purpose and good which is supposed to be the redemption of humanity. What if he says I can take your sin and make it work out for my good and my glory. Quite frankly I am now tired of God being the only one we serve and why do I say this, I say this because I am tired of working hard and giving and never recieving, working hard and always falling short BECAUSE HE LIMITS ME AND PURPOSEFULLY MAKES ME FAIL, working hard and always taking from me and giving me fear and not assuring me, being unloving towards me, and ultimately being self-preserving and vindictive. You would have the be the perfect person to get what you want, and quite frankly, he would rather you fail and fail again, and he would rather limit you then give you independance, he would cripple you and hurt you and leave you to deal with it, why ebcause he wants to test you because he has these ideas that are supposed to be above us and in reality he just does what he wants and cares only about himself. I don't wish him well, I worked so hard for a blessing and he has not rewarded me, he disappoints me and makes me fail, not even lets me. I discovered why people suffer, because God said so. Also he is unreasonable sometimes with me I hear so many promises, and when will I get to see the promised land, when will I get it. I wish he would stop hurting me and scarring me I truly resent him for that and wish hurt on him. Its grevious and terrible when you realize how God works.

How foolish of you to wish heart on god when he has given you everything. How dare you speak such horribly of a loving and kind leader the loves us and gave his life for our sins. Do you see the way in which you have disgraced our Lord with your hateful words? With such a negative attitude as this it is seen why God would not reward you. You truly sicken me in addition with the rest of the catholic church to call out on god and persecute him for "making you fail" which is an obvious fall of your own. I am a true believer and i have only seen gives come from God.

>god< the prince of the power of the air (the devil) is like you say.

there's only one way to be set free from it, forgiven, and to receive from the one true Yahweh through Yahshua(Jesus) ETERNAL LIFE, righteousness, peace and joy..

Not really, I people only love on God when he seems to suit their needs and when they get what they want, after you get tested severely and hurt you realize the truth. He left me to suffer lots and now I am struggling again.

This is indeed an uncalled for RANT..not needed..full of assumptions and pure hatred of GOD...so sad that you are stuck in this rut. Are you giving praise to satan, or is he not part or your problem? Your evil spirit and intention here is obvious..but..you are loved, despite your anquish. GOD can deliver you..if you seek HIM...and not the internet as your revenge and venting station. What have you got to lose? Turn to the ONE in whom you blame and see if you are not judging HIM and blaming Him when it is really your own lack of knowledge and spiritual maturity that is lacking.

We hurt ourselves, and other people hurt us, and lots of us forget that the devil is a major force regarding that hurt.
Read this: http://christianchat.com/christian-...-you-ever-wish-god-would-leave-you-alone.html

I realized I only felt this way because of my imperfections, it had nothing to do with God had done.
My point is God has made it clear that He's with us no matter how hardened we are. Thinking about His endless level of forgiveness makes me feel kinda stupid for getting frustrated at Him.

Everyone has or will get upset with God at some point because its in our nature to feel some resistance towards Him even if that's not what we really want. And I get the feeling that you really don't want to feel that way toward God.

No its perfectly legitimate to be mad at God because he can hurt you, it says in Dueteronomy God wounds and he makes alive, and the book of Job perfectly illustrates what its like to be tested and hurt by God, I know what it means to be hurt by God and I know that it can be disappointing and discouraging and very much angering but I must be honest and stay true to the truth, God can do evil to people.

Job 42:11 All his brothers and sisters and everyone who had known him before came and ate with him in his house. They comforted and consoled him over all the trouble the Lord had brought on him,and each one gave him a piece of silver[a] and a gold rin.

Sometimes God hurts people a lot, and he has a purpose for it but it doesn't negate that I am hurt and there is a promise and hope for those who believe, but that doesn't negate the pain and the suffering. I am hurt and I am very sore.

Santiago you're just mixing pain, hurt, and evil with discipline.

Hebrews 12:6
For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

I get the feeling that even if I hear the reason why you like this, and I offer a solution that you won't listen, which leads me to believe that the only reason that you're telling us this is because you don't really believe what you're saying, so you posted your feelings here to cement feelings so that you can believe you're right.

Be a man, and go to God. Truly open yourself to Him, because He cares more than we do. Do you actually think any of us has the capacity to truly understand how you feel without some kind of bias? God is the only one that is capable of loving and caring about you 100%. Don't try to understand everything God does because you can't, none of us can. Any attempt in doing so can end up in confusion and anger. You should be spending some alone with God right now and asking Him to show you the things in your heart, He's your one true benefactor.

It's not uncommon for people (who don't know better) to wrongly blame God for their own mistakes and failures, what the devil's done to them, and what others have done.

Corrie Ten Boom explains God's love: http://www.sermonindex.net/modules/mydownloads/visit.php?lid=4146

Reference: God Weaving a Tapestry in Your Life | Small Groups | Southwood Presbyterian Church

I realize you're trying to help but by throwing in that "who don't know better" part, (I know seems like
I'm being a jerk by adding quotation marks, but that isn't what I'm trying to do) you could indirectly worsen the situation.

I've been through the situation and understand it. One of the tricks of the devil is to severely attack our lives (really rip us apart, turn people against us, jam up our ability to earn and progress, destroy our dreams, and denude us of health, wealth, relationships, etc...) and afterwards deceive us. He's trying to get us to blame God for what he (a wicked fallen angel), his damned demons (literally damned), and other people did in order to separate us from God.

But God's love never stops shining through it all. These attacks can be devastating. But as severe as they are, there is a greater power than our natural enemy and so here I am still standing by miracles of love and healing: no longer deceived, much wiser than I was, and knowing beyond a shadow of a doubt that I am 100% saved, 100% loved, with a glorious future so bright I can only wonder at what awaits me.

"Indirectly worsen the situation"? I don't think so. I know what's on the other side for the young man having walked in his shoes. Well trudged. It's more like trudging really to be honest.

Fubario, you are the master of your own destiny.

Don't blame "God" for all the ills of the world.

There are many who see no evidence that He involves himself in any way in the individual lives of some 7 billion humans.

Yes, there are many deceived people in the world. From false religious systems to reductive materialists and everything in between, a great many people are deceived with respect to God.

As the apostle Paul explained to the men of Athens, "God made... mankind to live on all the face of the earth having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation that they would seek God, if perhaps they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; for in Him we live and move and exist."

God is with us and round about us, quickening us with his own life, upholding us by his own power, sustaining the being that we derive from him (see Psalm 139:7, etc.; Psalms 23:4). God is personally striving with every human being on earth all the time, always, having promised us "I WILL NEVER DESERT YOU, NOR WILL I EVER FORSAKE YOU" (Hebrews 13:5).

The promise given to Jacob (Genesis 28:15), to Israel (Deuteronomy 31:6, 8), to Joshua (Joshua 1:5), to Solomon (1 Chronicles 28:20), etc... The divine adage. What was said to them, now applies to us. God will neither withdraw His presence ("never leave thee") nor His help ("nor forsake thee")!

Listen to what Corrie Ten Boom, survivor of Ravensbrück, had to say about it.

Ageofknowledge, I knew you wouldn't think so, that's why I said what I said. It's not what you said that's potentially repelling, it's how you said it. I'm not trying to criticize you, but that kind of tone regardless of your intention could make them even more resistant to what you say. Be clear but not too coarse.

For example wouldn't it be better (remember I said better not 'more comfortable' because I got a feeling that you may point this out) to say "Those who don't understand" or "Those who cannot understand' instead of "who don't know better"? Because saying stuff like that can be crippling to someone that has lost his way.

I'm going to suggest that you put me on ignore penknight since everything I say is wrongly delivered in your estimation.

I can share my experience, what I've learned, and the message of God's never ending love without you following me around and negatively criticizing every single post I make. Put me on ignore or I'm going to start reporting you to the moderators for harrassment.

I have no idea what you're talking about, I'm only trying to help my friend. How could I have possibly criticized every post you've made when you and I are hardly on the same thread. I'm positive that if our roles were reversed you would more or less say what Im
trying to explain to you right now. Be reasonable.

Honestly it doesn't matter I have to wait is all I know, just pray for me for deliverance and to get restored and to have my future and everything secured so that the devil's will is not done and that God's will is done and that the good is done and that I can get what I prayed for and desired.
