I totally respect you for feeling this way, Natania.

My thing is though, someone who's told that many lies... is typically not telling the truth when he "comes clean", either.

At least, this has been my own experience. "The truth" and "lies" all become the same.
Meh I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt for things like that.
Has it blown up in my face? Lol all the time.
I gave my father the benefit of a doubt and he tried to kill me lol.
But more often then not I find that there are some people who will take responsibility.
Heck I've lied in my past. I've done awful things.
Should I still be held acountable for that?
Absolutely. But I've been forgiven by the Father and by people.

But I completely understand why you think the way you do.

That's true. He did own it. Was he sincere in that? Who knows. But if no one said anything, he would still be going with it. So I'm not gonna give him much credit lol.
That's very true

Would be kinda difficult to deny...he was busted red-handed :).
Meh I know many people who wouldn't own up still

Let's use my father.
So, I got a order of protection against him. He straight up violated it and was caught red handed.
Do you think he owned up?
No. He straight up said he did nothing wrong.
I mean I love him but denying wrongdoing is a lot easier then owning up even if you are caught

I think I might text that cell number. It probably dials a Volvo dealership in Texas.

What's weird is that the dude in the pic is a guy named Blake Steven who claims that he permanently moved into an apartment in LA in a YouTube video 4 days ago... and said he was already in a relationship with the girl in the pic in a Q&A last year...
I don't think people realize you can google image search on everyone's avatar's. Haha.

Right click on their avatar and click "Search image for Google." The picture will then show up to see if anyone got it from the web. His avatar was from a "Cute Couples" website haha. (Not even joking).

I was kidding about the other profiles...

Actually, the things that I posted are slightly embellished reality. I didn't want to make it too similar to myself, so I made up the timeline, but like I said, a lot of the things that I said were true. I am dating my best friend, I am looking for my first house, my accident stories were all true, my family has been paleo forever, I did move to Austin when I was six, and I DO live in San Francisco.

I might also add that I didn't make the alias's because I don't feel like anyone cares about the real me, I just don't want any person on the internet to be able to view private details and struggles of my life and know who I am. I guess that I just got a little carried away! I signed up for an account because I genuinely wanted advice on stuff. I will be back as myself in the near future, but it's time to retire LeonT and California91. They might make an appearance in one of my books someday though :)

Keep the faith. One thing that was never embellished was my Christianity. I take my faith seriously.
You don't want anyone on the internet to view your private details yet you gave the street address to this house you was supposedly going to buy. Members welcome you to the site and then you begin to deceive them. You say you take your faith seriously.

Seriously?

Don't bother coming back as 'yourself' because you don't have a clue as to who you are and I really don't care.

Good riddance.

So much for "coming clean" and "telling the real truth."

For people who go to such trouble to make up lies about a life they don't even have...

There is no difference between the truth and more lies.

It's easy to do a reverse phone number search. I hope no one actually texted him.

Yep haha. I'm not about those catfish :p I know it is an option on Chrome. I'm not sure about other web browsers. But I feel like if people did this, they wouldn't be fooled by the catfish so much lol.

Typically, if you find the picture somewhere else on the web, they are using another person's pictures. If you can't find it anywhere, it's legit usually. But there've been a few people who have catfished on here before who became smarter and outdid the system. But, that's only one catfish that was on here. The rest don't know how to do it lolol.

I'm curious, Katie...

What do you mean by outdoing the system?
